Nah....BR was high on grass! RS is never a striker! Only BR borbian but go play him as one! I want to see how long Can last in Anfield playing as a Cb before he ask for a transfer!

Emre Can was often used as a CB at Bayer Leverkusan too.

Don't forget BR still got 2 other strikers in Borini and Lambert. I really wonder why he didn't use these 2 more often.

Can was actually brought to replace Lucas . But he seemed to be able to play in other positions as well. I like the way the lad plays. Good sense of positioning . This lad will have a great future at Liverpool . Only hopes the manager uses him correctly.

Emre Can originally started out as a defender during his schooldays. It was when he was drafted into the Germany age group youth teams that he was taught to play in different positions due to his versatility. There was even a period where he was playing as a striker and right winger. It was finally in the Germany U-21 team that he was deployed as a DM and excelled in that position.

Character wise he is very mature for his age although he is only 20..... the quiet and cool type but tough in nature. He does not complain or voice out his unhappiness like a certain MB but just digs in and get the tasks done.

He is a good buy and LFC should treasure and keep him for a long long time.

hope to see Can moving up into midfield position and we need a good striker, not some part time or stand in player.

LS was a special player and he needs a bigger stage to play in. BFC was the right move for LS and he could bag the FIFA Ballon d'Or in time to come.

if he plays for LFC he can only win the PFA award.

rooting for Pool tonight!!!!!!!!!!

Southampton lost which takes some pressure off on the chasing pack but Spurs could catch up.

Arsenal can only have maximum 84 points...and Man U ony 83 points...with 18 points more at stake...

my early season prediction that 85 points will win the championship still holds true although think Chelsea will have more than 85 points to win the championship...so mathematically Chelsea needs to win 3 more games and they will have unassailable 85 points lead...

Injury update for today's match :

1) Daniel Sturridge
2) Adam Lallana
3) Lucas Levia

Steven Gerrard and Skrtel is back from suspension and is available for this match. Looks like Sterling is goona be the main striker. It will be interesting to see if SG starts the game or not.

The Gunners make it to the final of the FA Cup by beating Reading 2-1 with Sanchez scoring both goals for the Gunners.
