Re: Hanoi
FB looks like a good hunting ground. I have too few upcoming dates, too few qualified leads. The just-in-time approach to dating logistics is no good for my peace of mind, it makes me anxious when meeting that perfect girl, betting everything one one card is no good. I need a full pipeline, more prospects for future dates. So to improve my efficiency I will try technology, just like every business would do. Being able to do it from the comfort of home is a bonus.
I just created my 1st online dating profile, I went for sth more innocent than the "looking for young married models" thing, I think that would be too much for a conservative city like HN, I just wrote this: Quote:

New dictionary on Hanoi streets launched
======================================== Researcher Giang Quan’s Dictionary on Hanoi Streets has been published to serve the demand of tourists and people who want to know more about Hanoi. The dictionary comprises 800 entries, including 458 streets, 121 roads, 173 lanes, 23 parks and squares etc. The dictionary was completed before the time Hanoi merge with Ha Tay to become a bigger Hanoi. Therefore, the author could not have added in his dictionary streets in Ha Dong town. However, the dictionary is said to meet the demands of people who want to better their understanding about old Hanoi because it listed almost all the streets and important sites in the city. One senior here is very very good at palm reading. Another one is also very good (but maybe more of an entertainment talent...I don't know).
I just tried a similar game to palm reading, the cube. It can be adapted to VN realities. Sth like this: Quote:

Weekend In Doson, Hai Phong
Today just itchy fingers want to share some ground intel on Doson, HaiPhong.
After a continuous four nites of action packed in Hanoi, organized with one cheongster to venture outskirt for the weekend. We set off at 8 am and arrived in the cool quiet town of Doson around 11 am, and stopped over for a good seafood lunch. Immediately after lunch, our driver brought us to one of the many Nha Khach (the guest house is like every 5 m you can spot one). We get into a room and the OKT would deliver the parades of SYTs. Three arrived at the 1st parade and my buddy quickly grabbed one. Me as usual opted for more viewing. The 2nd parade even more impressive with 5 SYTs. Chose one and off we go to the bedroom. Service wise veri SOP. Went downstair and make payment at counter ... all inclusive is VND 150,000 Damned cheap compared with what we paid at Hanoi or HCMC, which is 10 x more expensive. Needless to say, we went to the seaside for some refreshment and then went for the 2nd round before making our way back to Hanoi.

Re: Hanoi
Just finis msg session in Sakura Club along Dong Da.
Paid for VIP Room @ VND 390K. As walking to the room, saw a group of msg gers ... quality 8/10. The session started with warming up in sauna room as the ger filling up the bath tub. After 15 minutes grilled in sauna, jumped into the tub to be showered and shampooed by syt ger. Veri good scrub with special attention to my bird. She then dried you with towel and proceeded with a good rub down. Towards the end, she just carried on with the sensual happy ending (= HJ). Gave VND 200K tip, and she veri happy liow (unlike in HCMC whereby the gers even asking for VND 300K to 400K). Overall, nice and clean place to chill.

Prime Minister halts Hanoi park hotel
============================== Compiled by Thuy Hang Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung ordered a halt to the construction of a controversial four-star hotel in a Hanoi park following a backlash from local residents and architects, the Government Office said Tuesday. Work began on the US$40 million Novotel Hanoi On The Park in Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park in the center of Hanoi last June. The hotel project triggered wave of criticism from local residents and architects, who said giving public parkland to a private company was illegal and a reduction in Hanoi's green space went against city's master plan. After reviewing the project, the Ministry of Construction on March 25 asked the prime minister to halt the hotel’s construction. In a note to the Hanoi People’s Committee on Tuesday, the prime minister for another site to be found for the hotel project. Dung also asked authorities to calculate how much compensation the investors should be paid. According to a report by the investors, SAS Hanoi Royal Hotel Ltd., some US$14.5 million has been spent on the hotel project so far. The Hanoi government was also asked to review the city’s master plan to ensure there was adequate green space. The project was designed to cover an area of 10,300 square meters, of which 9,000 square meters was to encroach on the park. The hotel was scheduled to be completed in time for next year’s 1,000th anniversary of Hanoi. The 376-room hotel project is a joint venture between the Hanoi Tourism Corporation and Singapore’s SIH Investment Ltd. The 50-hectare Thong Nhat Park, the largest in central Hanoi, was built in 1958 and inaugurated in 1961. At the time, the country was divided, with two different political regimes. The park was named Thong Nhat, to express hope for the country’s reunification. Protests in 2007 also defeated a proposal by another real estate developer to turn Thong Nhat Park into a Disneyland-style theme park. Under Vietnamese law, only the prime minister has the power to halt a development approved by a local People’s Committee.
