Black pagoda at patpong which is a coyote bar has a short time room inside the bar itself. ST rate which is 3000 baht inclusive of paybar. Patpong lately have a few new coyotes bars at other Soi which offers a second look at the infamous patpong. As long as avoid the bars and ping pong shows on 2nd floor along the night market. The ones on the ground floor does not have the problem. They even present the bill and tell u verbally how much is your first drink when they put inside the bill container.

Welll.... there ARE a lot of statues and Shrines all over Bangkok. LOL

But the Erawan shrine is always very crowded, lots going on there at all hours of the day and night and the Chit Lom BTS is the closest to get to there.

Actually quite surprising that it is just on a mostly open-air corner on an always busy street, with not much by way of impressive buildings or temples etc. Surprising as it IS such an important and revered place for so many people - Hindus as well as Buddhists as Thailand is a Buddhist country. I also see many foreigners (who I would think are mostly neither Buddhist nor Hindu) go there to pray - and get a bit disturbed that they're doing this as if they're just doing the touristy thing like throwing coins into the Trevi fountain etc.

Anyway, not to stray too far off the topic, actually this shrine is only a short BTS ride from Nana, Cowboy etc and all the worldy delights!

I don't know which is worse...walking into MP or taking cab? If I don't drive the PPS would likely guess I'm a tourist. Anyway once open mouth they confirm will know.

I used to dislike going labelle and Lord because the PPS will assess customers based on how they dress and what nationality, and consider if you are worth the effort to serve you (and of course if u will give tips). The first few times no one bothered coming to serve me. Sometime I prefer it that way since I was only going to look see, other times become frustrating trying to get attention of the PPS to ask qns or pick girls. If planning to go to a regular joint it helps to make friends with one of the PPS.

The Lord establishments do not pay taxi drivers.
One that i knew of is plaza entertainment at makkasan, but for the sideliners, they don't pay taxi drivers.
Sometimes when u go in via taxi, when u meet the pps, just tell him that u gave directions to the taxi to come and u are not going pay the taxi driver commission, the pps will tell the taxi driver your intentions.
If the taxi driver is not happy, u can tell him then u wouldn't call any girl. Waiting there will be a waste of his time.

There are a few other establishments like chao phya or colonze, i think they have commission to taxi drivers.

Haha 500USD? Sg guys generally but not all want free tour guide and hold hand. Also want girls cheap good and fresh. I have requests from some asking for escort service 5000baht for all day. Even bar girls / freelancers do not stay with u 24 hours for 5000 baht let alone escorts. At most 3 hours for 5000baht but usually ugly or different from photo.

Coming Bangkok with a big budget or small budget allows different kind of cheonging. Do not expect to get a swee Swee model XL cat at Lord when go cheong at agogo bar. if have $$ to spend can go find better quality girls but pricer.
