Looks like the rate in JB is much lower than singapore. The stretch of shops at jalan wong ah fook is only S$100=M$240.00. It seems that they have a standard rate as I saw the same rate at the shops after shell after you cleared immigration and also opposite Pelangi shopping center ( near to esso petrol station ). so its good to change in singapore before going in !!!

those roadside shops in JB usually give rm1-rm3 more than the posted rate, especially when you change sgd100 or more. (i dun think shops in malls do so.)

However, having said that, yes, rates in SG are usually marginally better (by rm0.5 or so.)

Not really. Most shops at Pelangi will give more than display rate.
I jus change SGD100 for MYR242.
