just back from HCM city .... was there on 21st till 25th jan ..
this is my first time in HCM and really a eye opener for me ... especially the enormous number of motorbikes on the street ... unbelieveable ... this is my day to day FR ... Day #1 was delay for 2.5 hrs inside the SQ plane in singapore ... Hotel: Que Huong Liberty 4 Hotel 265 Pham Ngu Lao St Distric 1 Remarks: Clean, friendly and secure hotel .. not sure whether it's 3 or 4 stars ... value for money .. check the hotel lounge for great music entertainment. Price: US$40 per day Food: Quan An Ngon 138 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Quan Mot, TP. Remarks: experience food court style in a different culture ... food is good and cheap ... very crowded ... but smile at the waitress and she will help u get a table in double quick time. Hai Lua 172-174 Ky Con Q Distric 1 Remarks: exotic food experience ... good atmosphere .. think they have a live karaoke session on the ground floor .. Com Nieu Sai Gon (CNSG) 59 Ho Xuan Huong Street Ward 6, District 3 Remarks: an eye opener for the sticky rice serving ... u cannot find this anywhere else .. it's about skill and skill ... nice environment ... classy and posh setting ... price is not expensive ... Nha Hang Hoang Long 11-13 Cong Truong Lam Son P. Ben Nghe Q1 - TP (Next to Caravelle Hotel) Remarks: Good cantonese food ... nice setting ... price is cheap .. the beer promoter gal is pretty and sexy .. Good day to all bros here in this thread, first of all, let me congratulate you boys on the great work. Special mention to bros like euphoria, singviet, sha gua and chinaboy. Dun mind newbie to HCM ask a few questions.
I spent an hour plus reading through this thread and still have some more questions. Pls dun zap me hor. I am due to visit HCM in May/June for work. Problem is that I am going to be there with some other people that does not allow me to be seen with chicks. It's a civil servant thingy and I am suppose to work out the itenary. But i will have my own room.  So I hope to stay in a hotel that has massage palour (for some HJ) and a lounge (live music will be good), with central location for cheonging, allow visitors (gals) in the room, reasonable pricing. Pls recommend one. Another request is for bros to recommend great FLs that do short time. It will be great if u have a pic as well because one man's meat is another man's poison.
