Something i really dun understand as well and agree with you.

Its shoulder or off peak season or lean season...

And then you have them offering upto 20% discounts at some of the hotels....

And the hotels are all fully booked...

Also nowadays when you get a 5 years on your passport, you will find that its actually 5.5 years. The Sg ICA have provided an extra 6 months validity to help us with the 6 months balance requirement.

Actually it is 5 years + the balance remaining on your existing passport up to max of 9 months..... so some may be 5.2 and some get 5.7 etc
