anyone can recommend me some affordable nice clean hotel in kota area? Hopefully around 100k-200k max.
My friend from SGP is coming and don't want to spend a lot.

Other action area hotels to consider are:

Mercure Rekso - good location at main road of Jln. Hayam Waruk. Very near Kartika, not too far from Lokasari and Pen-Jay area. Nice rooms and ambience. Excellent b/f buffet; wif timsum too. Price a tad high at Rp365k but still ok.

Jayakarta Tower - A short distance from Mercure. Used to be a top hotel in its glory old days. Now somewhat rundown wif stale atmosphere. Super and Rasa Sayang at its doorsteps. Affordable at Rp250k. Haven't stayed there for donkey years.

Olympic - Smack in the Lokasari red light complex. KTV wif plenty of China MMs in its premises. Noisy but not a problem for those late birds. Lowest priced rooms at Rp180k but a little small. Rp220k for a more spacious one. Bonus: inhouse blue movies (stategically mosaiced or airbrushed) that run all night.

Prinsen - 130k per night
or along Taman Sari.. try Regal.. go check new price..
they just renovated.. so i dunno now..

Hey Rainman, Long time no see. Finally getting back to Jakarta after a long hiatus. Sounds like you will be gone next week back in S'pore. When are U back in Jakarta ? How about Bro Moon ?

I'll be there for a week till Nov 2 or so then back in Dec after Ramadan..
