Malaysian starlet Nazmi Faiz appears 2 be on his way out of Harimau Muda aft reports linking him with a top flight club in Portugal.

The possibility of the switch has been reported by Football Management International, the company which brokering the deal.

Football Management International football director Marco Guimares has explained the details of the deal in a statement regarding the Portuguese club who r interested in the services of the teenager.

"The club is a mid-table side in the Portuguese Primeira Liga & they were impressed by Nazmi aft seeing videos of him in action," said Guimaraes as quoted by 2day newspaper.

"The move 2 Europe would help further develop the talent he has, becos he will be challenging 2 play in the 1st team, & not just there 4 an attachment.

"We r looking 2 finalise details, with Nazmi & his father flying 2 Portugal on Sunday 2 discuss with the club & perhaps sign a pre-contract."

However, Nazmi will only be able 2 sign a professional contract with his new club aft turning 18 on August 16, according 2 the Fifa regulations.

Earlier tis year, the Kuala Lumpur-born youngster was reportedly set 2 join English club Cardiff City but was unsuccessful due 2 strict British work permit regulations.

Agreed. Anyway for tonight, Singapore 3 Kedah 1 is my prediction. We are really good at set pieces and with the strikers all fit, I do expect a lot of goals. Let's hope the change in goalkeeper tonight won't hurt us too much.

LionsXII 3-3 Kedah: LionsXII drop valuable points after letting slip a two-goal lead against Kedah

2 goals in 5 mins helped Kedah claw back fr 3-1 down 2 hold the LionsXII in a feisty clash @ a packed Jalan Besar stadium. The draw does the Lions' little favour as they give 2nd-placed Kelantan less ground 2 catch up when they play their games in hand.

Having lost 2 Kelantan in Kota Bahru last week, the Lions bounced back in style beating PKNS FC 2-0 on Tuesday but lost valuable ground aft being disappointedly held by Kedah.

The game started in a lively manner with the Lions seizing the lead on 9 mins. A long throw by Madhu Mohana was flicked on by Baihakki Khaizan 2 the far post & Shahril Ishak was on hand 2 stab the ball home. The goal brought cheers 2 the Jalan Besar faithful but it was short-lived as Shahril had 2 be stretchered off 4 a suspected shoulder dislocation with Sufian Anuar replacing him.

The goal increased the tempo of the game & both teams began 2 find their feet & passing game. Kedah got an equaliser on 20 mins, somewhat against the run of play. Captain Baddrol Bakthiar crossed invitingly & forward Khyril Muhymeen connected with a header 2 leave keeper Izwan rooted.

The Lions restored their lead aft a great flowing move, a move similar 2 Kedah's 1st goal. Juma'at Jantan created space 4 himself on the right & put in a great delivery 4 Sufian Anuar 2 finish with his trademark header. The goal gave the Lions greater impetus & it showed in their play.

Lions coach Sundram was forced in2 another change b4 half-time as Juma'at was unable 2 continue after suffering dizzy spells with Yasir Hanapi coming on in his place.

The half ended at 2-1 with both sides going close with efforts but unable 2 add 2 the scoreline.

The 2nd half started with a quick tempo with both sides looking 4 another goal. The Lions were the 1st 2 strike with Baihakki meeting Shahdan's vicious free kick with a firm header 2 make it 3-1.

But the celebrations were short-lived as Kedah mounted a remarkable comeback with 2 goals in 5 mins.

Vedran Gerc who was bright upfront 4 Kedah, setup Amar Rohidan who struck his 1st-time effort sweetly 2 reduce the deficit on 61 mins.

5 mins later Gerc himself struck gold firing low & hard past the despairing dive of Izwan.

The goals fr Kedah rocked the home team but they could not surmount a comeback & time eventually ran out 4 them.

With Kelantan beating PKNS FC 3-0, the Lions' lead has been cut to 3 points having played 4 games more. The Lions next face Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday & will be looking 2 pick up maximum points against the leagues' bottom-side.
