Firstly, we are digressing from the issue here. Here is a drunken man, operating a moving car, which in my opinion a speeding car is a machine that can kill. He has no business drinking under the influence of alcohol. It doesn't matter who he knocked down, it could be an old lady, a whore, a dog or someone we know and cherish. He should pay for what he has done. That we leave it to the police.

To the issue of paying respect to the deceased, then i would ask myself, is this person worthy of being respected? In my opinion, surely prostitution is not a profession one can be proud of or respected. By prostituting, the WL has betrayed her body, mind and soul. Giving excuses such as difficult family circumstances or need to raise money for studies is not good enough.

How many women are in similar circumstances but do not resort to opening their legs? Most people I would think. Just like would we go steal or rob a bank if we are desperate? Can it be justified? I think not.

But then again, since the person is dead, just let her RIP lah. If some people want to pay respect go ahead. Those who don't want, don't do it then. it's a free country and you can spend your money anyway you want.

Well, I was down at LP last nite and one of the mummy there told me a group of customers donated more than $18,000 to her family. When I asked why the customers donated so much, she said they felt that no matter how, this girl came to Singapore to make money, be it for family or herself. And she had also sat in their room before. So the collection of money amongst themselves was just an act from the heart.

A classic example of how misguided Singaporeans are when it comes to donating.

The foreign family of a PRC prostitute get $18,000. In the meantime, this poor Singaporean old lady, born and bred in Singapore, paid taxes when she was younger plus contributed to growth of the country has to beg for money in order to make ends meet.

i did give tips to waiters/waitresses in the restaurants if the service is gd and also thank those uncle or auntie in macdonalds for gd service

as for GP i did gv them a thank you card to thank them

as for those needys i donate money to them too
