Months of the year
You wil notice certain months end with korm / yoen or phan.....let me explain.....

Korm......means the month have 31 days
Yoen......means the month have 30 days only
Phan......means the month have 28 or 29 days only

Also please take note that when speaking in nia / issan language, these words korm, yoen and phan are not neccessary .....hehee....

January .......mark ka lar korm
February ..... koom par phan
March .........mee na korm
April ........... mae sar yoen
May ........... pert sar pa korm
June ........... meet took na yoen
July ............ ka rak ka dar korm
August ........ sing har korm
September .... kan ya yoen
October......... took lar korm
November ...... pert sar jik kar yoen
December ...... tang wa korm


Thai timings
There are 7 stages of thai timings.......


1st stage = Chao......6am-9.59am ( chao= pronounce noisy in mandarin)


2nd stage = Sai........10.00am-11.59am


3rd stage = by ........ 12.00pm-4.59pm


4th stage = yen ....... 5.00pm-6.59pm


5th stage = Toom...... 7pm-11.59pm
.............................. 7pm = neung toom
.............................. 8pm = song toom
.............................. 9pm = sum toom
.............................. 10pm= see toom
.............................. 11pm= har toom


6th stage = Tiang kuen.....12 midnight-12.59am


7th stage = Tee ......... 1am-5.59am
................................ 1am = tee neung
................................ 2am = tee song
................................ 3am = tee sum
................................ 4am = tee see

Haiz......you still remember I called you before I board the plane yesterday? I was supposed to call my sister after that to buy this number after calling you but I forgotten and yesterday opened zhun zhun......the number is 5046. While queuing to enter the boarding room, there was this computer outside showing the flight info. It show SQ 5046....to Chiangmai. I told my OC and she asked me to call my sister to buy for her $5 big....haiz but I forget and now she asked me to pay her instead for her losses.......

Hahahaha.......bro genesis01, as promised I went to my thai friend house just now to check up for you and this is what I found out.

The temple is at Amphoe (district) Sankhampeng, changwat (province) chiangmai. Temple name is called Wat Par Teung. This monk has been lying in the glass coffin for 20 years. There is no injection whatsoever but his whole body was wrapped in thin gold plated paper. He become a monk as the age of 9 and died aged 95. His real name is Pra Kroo Chan Saman Khun. Nickname is Laung Pu La Ta Tip. There is also a temple in Lampang where a monk who died earlier than the above mentioned about 4-5 years. Same thing also placed in a glass coffin and was well preserved. Temple name is Wat Lor Por Kaksem. The monk name is Long Por Kaksem. ........hope this help.......

Hahahaha.........okok, understood leow. Yes you are absolutely right. This dumbass had really fool us and taken us for a ride....and a very long one indeed. I think he dun believe in karma thats why he dare to do such thing. I tell you something, I got a ex-collegue who did something similar like this. Also involved a thai gal but this 1 was working in JB. This ex-collegue now business failed, owed $$$ to loansharks and is on the run now. Loansharks also come to my workplace to look for him and heard from them he also didnt went home now. So you think it is karma or not? If you ask me, my answer is a big yes because before he know that girl and later played her out, his financial life was so smooth sailing and everything he do, he seem to have a midas touch.......but look what happened to him now.......until today all of us do not even know where he is.........haiz........guess this is the true definition of this word called karma .......

A Supernatural Story At A local Hotel

This incident happened in the eighties when I was working in a 5-star hotel in Orchard road. I was working as a room service waiter and we have to perform 3 shifts. I just joined this hotel for about 3 months but have already heard from fellow colleagues and chambermaids that there is something "dirty" going on in the hotel but I just brushed it off as I always believe that if one speak no evil or do no evil, then he will see no evil.....until 1 night I realised how wrong I was to have such thinking........

I remembered I was on the midnight shift. It was already around 2.30am. Time for us to go collect breakfast cards from the floors. There were 3 of us on duty for a midnight shift. A room service captain & 2 waiters and a room service order taker. Our job now were to start from the highest floor and walked from 1 end to the other using the fire exit staircases to proceed to the next floor. That night was a busy night as we already collected a lot of breakfast cards ( hanging on the door knobs) for the first 6 floors. We then went to the 9th floor and thats was when suddenly...........
