Actually,i do not prefer massage with oil. My preference is always either massage with just towel or powder. But i cant speak indo,so i dont know how to tell the masseur not to use oil on me,nonetheless it is still fine for me cos the oil can be easily wash off, unlike the oil use by masseur in Sillypore. They have a public bathroom to wash the oil off tho.

The masseur also offer a boxing shorts for me to wear too. Which was one reason why gives me the impression that this shop dont offer special.(i request to take it off in the later part of the massage tho) Signs of the shop that suppose to have no special from my view (i dont know if its correct) :

1. ask me wear boxing shorts

2. Offer ginger tea

Most welcome,bro. When i 1st went Batam,i try sourcing for a taxi driver that could serve as a guide,so i went online to do some research. Most drivers,especially English/Chinese speaking ones quoted between S$50 to S$100 for 10 hours. And during then i am suppose to run solo. My preference during travel is often,know what i want and look out for the available market price 1st before sourcing for lower pricing,and from there make my bargain. 300k is the best i could find,but keep in mind...most taxi drivers are unreliable,especially when i am paying peanuts,so i wont be expecting even above average standard in terms of vehicle comfort or good attitude.

kudos to bro nono who went really out of his way to show me around batam during our trip.
Thinking back, the choice of girls made me giddy n really spoiled for choice n lost capability of decision making lol. Really pai seh. The experience is addictive.

Regarding bringing the girl's friend to room,my girl made the request to me,telling me if her friends can come to my room. I rejected that idea. It's middle of the night..better to be safe & avoid trouble.

Thank you for finding the information useful. I have a short memory,and tends to forget stuffs,hence i bookmark my Batam trail so that i can cross reference what i have learned whenever i need them. i don't know how long i can live,but when i retire,i want to be able to look back and smile,hehehe...and as much as that,this cross reference bookmarking (which doubles as a guide) can also help Batam travellers (myself) to know the very basics of travelling in Batam.

Looking back from some FRs with not-so-good experience previously, the challenge for me now is,how to get at least an average service from a booking joint's SSYT (w/o spending a lot). And that is something i am still learning. If one day i find the answers to it,i may write a guide for it too....lol. Meantime,having eye contact and looking for girls who'd show interest in me is my best bet ,as according to the advice by senior bros of this thread.

I am planning for my Nov 2014 trip now. I dont usually state the dates of my Batam trip openly in my postings,but since quite a handful of bros PM-ed to do so,i should just try it out at least once to see how it will turn out. Tentatively,my planned date to go Batam will be on 5th Nov 2014,Wed till 7th Nov 2014,Fri. As i planned it as a solo trip,the date i plan are subject to change according to my personal preference and work schedule.

Thank you so much,bro. It will surely help. I am writing it down on a piece of paper to be kept in my wallet and when i go to Massage in my next trip,i will just show the masseur the piece of paper. 1225pm - Book Return Ferry ticket back to Sillypore for 6th Nov 2014 at Prima Ferries counter.

1230pm - Pre-booked taxi will come and fetch me from Harbour Bay to Kaha

1235pm - Reach Kaha,book a 3D2N stay in Formosa Hotel

1245pm - Reach Formosa Hotel

0100pm - Check in room

0130pm - Change money and lunch at "don't know where yet"

0200pm - Girl hunting at several joints not within walking distance

0430pm - Back to Hotel to rest a bit

0500pm - Shopping at Nayoga Hill Mall

0600pm - Back to Hotel before girl arrived.

0600pm - 0730pm - in room OTOT

0730pm - Dinner at "dont know where yet"

But what you will need to take note is on my 1st day itinerary ,which you say you wish to join in,i got a fren who may or may not turn up who'd share my cost of taxi fare. You may choose to chip in to share our taxi cost or you may hire your your own to tailgate ours. My taxi cost is 300k for whole day. 2 person is 150k each and 3 will be 100k each person. 4th person will still be 100k per pax becos everyone in the vehicle will be very uncomfortable due to the squeeze.I will settle the unreliable driver's meals. If you have a reliable and lower priced taxi driver,by all means tailgate my unreliable taxi driver. I will have the final say for the driver booked by me even if you are paying part of the cost.

5th and 6th person onward will be on your own. Meaning their cost of transport has nothing to do with me or in anyway linked to the cost of my original taxi. Remember,booking a girl with a taxi driver will cost you at least 100k more which is often added to the cost of your booking by OKT,but you may consider that extra 100k as "school fee". This is a common practice in Batam and you will need to understand this before deciding if you wish to join me. I am not okt.

Below are some conditions :

I am a newbie,I am not a guide,i do not speak bahasa indo or any of the indo language at all,i do not charge money or make profit when you tag along during my travel (in fact,i will lose money),everything else is on Dutch or be divide equally among total number of head count,therefore...i dont take orders from anyone.

Lastly,satisfaction is 100% NOT guaranteed. And plz take this as a learning trip like i do with some form of enjoyment.

So,plz do think thrice before deciding to join me. I will give out exact details via PM one day before our travel date.
