Liverpool will probably not bid for Aubameyang and over the top I could think of two reasons.

Firstly, at 28 years old, he is a matured player and could perform at peak level for a maximum of two seasons in the Premier League.

Secondly, paying £50 to £60 million for the above reason does not make business sense to the owners.

Unless the club is as desperate as Manchester United was in the 2012/13 season when Ferguson signed Robin van Persie, then aged 29, to win the Premier League.

Believe a proven player of Auba calibre should be well worth more than 50-60m valuation. And Liverpool will definitely not splurge that kind of $$$.

However to FSG it has been only 7 years since the club won the BPL because they bought the club in October 2010.

They bought the club for 300 million and today it is worth over 750 million.
FSG replaced Adidas with New Balance and the club's main sponsor is Standard Chartered instead of Carlsberg.
Commercial wise we are doing fantastic and our books are well managed.
For the owners this is great progress and it does not matter if we do not win titles.

I use to hate Rodgers but now I do not blame him.
We have idiots like Ian Ayre and Michael Edwards negotiating deals for players.
A player who we could have bought for 11 million we are now wanting to buy at almost 35 million.

The football world will be laughing at how silly Liverpool are. A player whom the club refused to pay 13m for 3 years ago is joining for close to 40m now.

Many clubs know when Liverpool come knocking on the door they can rip us big time. This is really sad.

We have well educated men running the club at the top management. Sadly these guys are bad at making decisions and have no power in negotiation.
