Liverpool have agreed a club-record deal to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig on July 1, 2018, according to multiple reports.

Liverpool had been tracking the Guinea midfielder all summer and had two bids rejected by the Bundesliga runners-up -- the second of which was worth €75 million, according to owner Dietrich Mateschitz.

Liverpool agree club record deal with RB Leipzig for Naby Keita which will see him sign NEXT SUMMER.

Leipzig's stance -- both publicly and privately -- has been that Keita is not for sale at any price this summer as the club embark on the Champions League for the first time in their history.

However with Keita's contract including an exit clause of £48m, which comes into activation in June 2018, the club have reportedly sanctioned the move and he will undergo a medical in England this week.

Keita signed and joining Liverpool in 2018... Personally, I can't figure out the logic behind this.

COUTINHO 'IN PERFECT CONDITION'

He might not have played for Liverpool this season, but Philippe Coutinho looks set to feature for Brazil in their World Cup Qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia.

Barcelona target Coutinho has been ruled out of action for Liverpool with a reported back injury.

But Brazil's national team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar is quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying he is in "perfect condition to play".

Sky Sports News understands the latest offer made by Liverpool was around £64.8m, having previously submitted an offer worth £55.5m.

It is also understood Monaco want Lemar to stay at the club beyond this summer's transfer window.

This is forward planning. Expect Liverpool to have some massive clearance by 2018. Plenty of dead woods around and nothing heard. Many will not even make the bench.

If we don't progress Carabao & FA Cups then many of these players are getting paid but no game.

Also too many star players will not sit down waiting to be sub. Klopp need to manage their expectations.
