With the current market, it is good opportunity for a new comer to enter the market to fight with H81, just ignore Frangance as their room very suck.

1. Every time I've tried Fragrance, their room's hygiene sucks. Toilet stinks like shit really. Each of the 3 time in 3 different Fragrance hotel. I must be damn sway or there is a trend? Check in H81 just scan IC and sign. Check in Fragrance got to wait for the guy to type and then sign. More troublesome.

2. Time to buy their shares loh. Fragrance is a listed company. H81 isn't. If listed company earns more money (50% revenue increment from $20 to $30), they may pay out more dividend.

Ya, agreed now almost all at same price at 30 buck for 2 hrs, but i think some originally was already 30 buck. Hope all these no change.

We paid for for wat we get, so i think must know how to choose and goes for those with bigger room and also bathtub rather then those smaller one.

I agree with comments by some bros that the cleanliness of H81 is generally better than fragrance.

Though, the 2 Fragrance Hotels at Pasir Panjang are much better than their counterparts at lavender or kovan.

Yeah, nowadays, the thought of paying 30 for 2 hours really put me off of bonking any FL. Actually, the legal China seems to be cheaper than the FL. Imagine a standard of 80 per hour per shot plus $30 = $110 compared to the $100 for a standard legal china chick at GL for 45 minutes. Seems like the favour tilts towards legal china chick in terms of value.

A licensee of Hotel 81 has been charged with five counts of allowing his rooms to be used for prostitution activities.

41-year-old Chu Poh Yong from the popular budget hotel chain is believed to have committed the offences at two of its branches between April 27 and June 19 this year.

They are Hotel 81 Cosy at Jiak Chuan Road in the Chinatown area and Hotel 81 Mayo at Jalan Besar.

Chu will be back in court on August 31.

He isn't the first budget hotel licensee to be hauled to court for allowing sex workers to operate in his property.

52-year-old Siah Chen Long who runs Shing Hotel at Kitchener Road in Little India pleaded guilty to a similar offence in April this year.

A licensee who knowingly allows sex workers to ply their trade within his property breaches the Hotels Licensing Regulations.

He could be fined up to S$1,000.

For a second or subsequent conviction, the licensee could be fined the maximum S$2,000.

The hotel's certificates of registration may be cancelled or suspended.

Its licenses may also be cancelled.
