My experiences are mostly from mixing with Thai OLs. My impression about Thai women is that they are highly independent and enjoys freedom. They are less keen on marriage and giving birth (this is true from statistics too). Therefore, it is easy to get laid with them but takes a lot more to convince them to marry you. Unlike the Singapore office which is full of SG girls either married or attached, the Thailand offices are full of single ladies from young to mature. Also unlike SG girls who rush their BFs to marry them before 30, Thai girls are more ready to break up with BFs even though they are reaching or over age 30 already.

Contrary to TS, I find that they seem to like well mannered and well dressed Chinese/Korean men the most. White men seems more attractive not because they are rich. C'mon, there is no lack of rich Asian men these days . White men are usually more polished and expressive in their praises so they strike better first impressions. And well, some Asian women fall for them. I personally have no qualms about that.

if they are really highly independent, those country-side women who aren't uni-grads wouldn't be hunting for white men when they can't even speak or understand simple english.

chinese men as in PRC, i doubt so. i think if terms of yellow-skin asian men, thai women would prefer japanese, korean and sinkaporians (according to popularity). japan has always been thailand's gud friend.
