Yeap, there is no black and white stating the period of ban. I was given first hand info that all this is done verbally and casually by the officers to the girls.

Approval for entry is at the sole discretion of officers at airport = pls buy more tiger/jetstar/sia/garuda lottery tickets and come to the counter and see if you have won a prize.

Sole discretion lies with officer/officers at airport??

No wonder in the last year or two we are seeing more reported(most ecent in Straits times) cases of corruption by officers having such power
