Bro, while the club moved with great speed to clinch the deal, they have still to finalise what his squad number will be.
Although he plays in defensive midfield now, Fabinho joined Monaco as a raiding full back, which perhaps explains his squad number there of 2.
Nathaniel Clyne is the current number two, so that would appear to be out unless the England man agrees to a swap.
However, the number 3 shirt is currently vacant.
Most famously worn by club great Alan Kennedy - as well as Phil Thompson, Mark Lawrenson, Steve Nicol and Emlyn Hughes at one time or another - it has fallen on hard times of late.
Mamadou Sakho was the last player to wear the jersey until he left for Crystal Palace. Before him Jose Enrique and Paul Konchesky were Liverpool's number three, following stalwart Steve Finnan, who was the number three between 2003 and 2008.
In terms of midfielders, Jan Molby wore it during his time with Liverpool, so you never know.

Liverpool keeper Loris Karius was undoubtedly affected by a concussion in their Champions League final loss to Real Madrid, says manager Jurgen Klopp.
Errors by Karius, 25, led to the Spanish side's first and third goals in their 3-1 victory in Kiev in May.
Karius collided with Sergio Ramos with the score goalless, and five days later was discovered to have "26 of 30 markers for a concussion" in tests.
"For me it is 100% the explanation [for his performance]," said Klopp, 51.
"He was influenced by that knock, that is 100%."
