Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
The good hotel like Royal Amsterdam are booked way ahead. I normally stayed at here or the Bangkok Hotel. Both within my budget and right in the centre of Field Ave. So if you want good locations, got to book ahead in advance. hehe

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
This is a good example of not readnig the thread in detail
I already spoke about spicy food and so did Abang etsys. You still asking sia? The first time i came to AC i could not find spicy food. So i started walking around with tobasco sauce...... extra hot version..... so u gotta be creative in that sense... There are two places i can recommend: 1) Emericos on Fields.... Serves fantastic curry. And if you are not Malay and eat pork you can even try their Pork vindaloo eurasian dish. Ask for extra spicy 2) Steves curry at Phoenix hotel... also recommendd by etsys if you got any other places to head to please let me know as well Quote:

Spicy food I recommend thaibaht restaurant on perimeter just next to candy bar.not really authentical compare to thailand but that's the best thaifood I can find in ac.the menu is suitable for our Asian taste bud just tell the server to inform the chef(thailady boss)cook it for khun Thai spicyness instead of farang ang mo and u might find yourself blowing fire later. Tequila reef off real street on fields serve good mexican food.jalapeño and hot sauce dishes makes my barfine jump later and complain her pussy is on fire. Cheers

email victory liner to enquire if they have a bus fm tarlac/concepcion to angeles. they'll let you know which bus passes that route n where u can catch it. for e.g. it might be a bus fm dagupan to manila but will stop at dau. the Dau terminal, which is 5 mins fm fields. wherever u're coming from, that's your stop for angeles. usually buses leave every 30 to 60 mins n u can just show up to get a ticket. they're very prompt with email replies and directions. http://www.victoryliner.com/contact-us/ u can also try genesis. http://www.genesistransport.com.ph/ |

It is run by Koreans and priority goes to their own countrymen...... having a confirmed reservation does not guarantee you a room there as they will give up your room to a Korean walk in guest. Directly across the road from Bangkok is the Walkabout hotel..... very much better than the Bangkok in service, friendliness, ambience and the price difference in only 100p. |

there's some nice restaurants, cafes opposite the pagcor casino. tried mr frosty for pinoy food. very gd, large portions. p800 for about 4 dishes for 4 pax. it's next to marlim mansion. fortune hongkong seafood was another. swagman hotel has a restaurant tat has decent asian - pinoy, thai, indian - & western. very hot wait staff too! all these places are in the Diamond sub-division. 3-5 mins by trike fm Fields. P50 if you're alone. http://www.google.com/maps/myplaces?...&ctz=-480&z=17 there's also a spa next to the gym. p250 for 1-hr clean massage. i had a male masseuse. no complains! other than that i had my chow at SM Mall. food court at the back on level 1 and plenty of restaurants serving anything u can dream of. |
