A. Becker save reminds me of the similar save made by J. Dudek to block Shevchenko in the Champions League final against AC Milan. Manager was also Ancelotti.

I'll admit, I was completely wrong and shouldnt have doubted Klopp on his midfield 3 start

Honestly, the midfield bossed and Jurgen got his tactics spot on

From start to finish we were head and shoulders the better side against a good Napoli.

Save a 15min spell we were more than comfortable.

Should have had 5 or 6 last night though!!

Alisson is proof that's why you pay the big bucks for absolute quality. Monster save, incredible signing!

VVD is just a pure cool beast! Pity that yellow has got him suspended for the next game though.

Special mentions for Matip, Robertson, Gini and Henderson; all put in massive performances especially Matip!

Hope Trent is ok.

Oh yeah, and now Dries Mertens knows the magical aura behind that legendary 'This is Anfield' sign!!

Never question the ghosts of Shankly and Paisely

Roll on United next on Sunday.

We made a group stage match look like a final.
Total unnecessary.
Same issues again for the forwards who keep missing chances and not looking sharp.
Simple request is for the crowd to show the same atmosphere at every home game and not disappear.

HAHA!!! Last season the WORLD CLASS PUNDEHS said Salah was a one season wonder. This season the same WORLD CLASS PUNDEHS say he is a two season wonder. These donkeys can stay home and catch cockroach!!! What a strong performance from the team. It looked easy but it was a hard fight and good result!!! I hope Liverpool is drawn to challenge Real Madrid!!!

On the issue of Salah, 'our' Firmino's earlier pov below definitely has some merit going by yesterday's match.

Salah appears more dangerous and fluid on the flanks instead of having to edge out two CBs in the middle

Very bad news on our CB front!

Matip out for at least 6 weeks probably more with a collarbone injury.

He was in absolutely no form last year or near the side for ages, comes back in and looks excellent. Now this?! Unreal

So with Gomez out as well, we are now left with only VVD and Lovren. Oh and the lad Phillips.

I am worried!!

The Liverpool - MU match on Sunday will be park the double decker bus tactics by JM. With some MU key players out this will even be more evident in JM tactics.

Key man to watch is Marcu Rashford who had scored against Liverpool and Lukaku.
