Do you guys think those are good fares for travel in Nov (my next time off from work) or should I wait as cheaper fares will come up before my Nov departure.
If they are good then I'll book and not miss out but will hold off if you guys think fares will be cheaper. Not sure how often Tigers or AirAsia have cheap or free seat deals to and from BKK.

Don't knock yourself just because the AirAsia promo wasn't as good as they orginally advertised. It is always a good gesture to let everyone at least know ahead of time that some good deals are coming even it they turn out to be a dud.

Wish I could help you out with the Tigerairways decision but truthfully I have not flown to Bkk in a longtime so can't really say if the air fares are really good. But from what I remember, 1100b +700b fees=1800b is not a bad deal even if it's only for one way. If you could land one of the "free airfares" and just have to pay fees then that's the best way but again not sure if any free deals will turn up before you depart in November. Since the airfares don't seem that high I suggest you book it now and not take the chance that it will go higher.--IMO

Perhaps some here who frequent BKK from S'pore can provide you with better guidance as to better to wait or book now.

I'll PM you if I come across anything better.

Interesting! So much has changed since I was last there. And that was way back in 1985 when Marcos was still President. I lived there from 1985 to 1986 when Marcos was oust as President. I can still remember the curfew we had to endure. Are there anyone here that was there during that period?

They don't do it to locals when they are alone but if they see you then prices automatically double or triple in price. Well happened to me once also. I seldom take trike, but when I took it I nvr asked cause I am with a local so nvr thought they will try to up the price. As usual I will just give 50p to my BF and she will gave it to the driver. So that time the driver wanted more, but me totally ignore him and hold my BF's hand and cont. bck into the hotel. :P

my understanding fm Clubs in Manila n Cebu when it cums to bf for "superstars" n "dancers" is that a higher px includes the fact that the Club wld not hv the performance services of these gals...so it is not just based on looks n bod quality of the gal, also her performance ability...

first and foremost... I do not consider myself as an expert cheongster.... there are many big bruders here with better experience then me but this is my 2 cents worth.

Personally i think that the quality of the girls here are fairly good. There are just too many to choose from. I am not saying that the superstars here are all dropdead gorgeous... some are. I find that majority of them are mildly- tanned (which I kindda fancy very much) but in some bars... especially those which cater to Koreans, they do have fairer gals. they come in all shape and sizes... maybe that is why this place attracts lots of ppl. ppl with different needs.

I was told by a girl that I bf that should the girl get three consecutive BFs in as many days... they will be installed as superstars... this apparently happens in the larger bars. I am not exactly sure if that is true. Only the larger bars have superstars, perhaps as what you have mentioned... if they are released there will be less of a attraction in these bars whereas the smaller bars since they do not have any special shows... there will not be any difference in tha EWR rates.

For me what attracts me to this place is that it's party 24 hours with fantastic cheap but good quality beer too! One can easily communicate with the ladies here as majority of them do understand english.

Personally I prefer to BF girls from the smaller bars... bring them to the larger bars for the shows...

As for tips I kindda depend on the companionship that I get... those who promise LT but starts giving all sorts of excuses... i just send them off without one... otherwise probably 200 to 300 p is the norm... perhaps other bruders here can advice.

To be honest there in those tier system place there is white tag lookers(1500) who u would think why she is not in green tag(3000)

There is also green tag dancer who u would think how the hell can she deserve to be in 3000cat?

I ever ask the waitress/mamasan what's the difference btw 3000peso/1500peso girls?

Answer was 3000 are spotlight dancer and does more show.One waitress who donno how to and tell me many guys don't care whether it's 1500 or 3000 if they like the girl?

Alantis mamasan also advise me before most 3000 green tag girls will only do short time and best check with the girl if she is willing to stay LT if that's what u want.

Even those that need to wear g-strings/t-backs are paid a little more than the regular girls.
Most places, the girls have to work a minimum hour before EWR to get paid for the day.
Meaning for example : Girl A starts work 3 pm but gets barfined at 4pm. She will not get paid for that day. But if she get barfined after 5pm, then she gets the salary for the day.

U dun need to pay lots of money for good looking girls.
Many available in smaller bars and places u thing got no girls.
U can also try KTV lounges and Music lounges to get better dresses girls who have a little bit more flair in speech.

Wow nvr know there so much happening news in the last few 15 pages.

MY heart was like going up when seeing so much FR from bro and senior bro there enjoying with the company + the food. But also sank when seeing the news of the raids about bars/pubs in which a few bros have decided to put a hold on the trip there.

Now it's up again after seeing the good news of "new" bars/pubs opening again.

For me leave already booked, just that no passport to buy air-ticket. Haha. But think in 2 or 3 weeks time if nothing goes wrong new passport will be arriving and thats when I can start to wait for any lobang in the air-tickets. :P

Haiz ... happy go to POST to make passport but got rejected 2 times ... 1st time asked me got bring old passport, say no and head back to take. Then when I got my passport they told me that I need to give them the NRIC date of issues ... I was like WTF ... so lan lan go back trying to find but in the end cant locate it. Thought can tried the online vers to apply the passport, and again need the NRIC date of issues ... Grrr. Now left 1 choice but not really confident able to make it, and that is to go to ICA tomorrow. Hope without IC date of issues they still can help me make a new passport else will be months before I get my passport. Bad and frustrating Friday for me.

Your NRIC date of issue should be on your IC itself, how come cannot find?
