I'm wondering how come nobody mentioned another place which the malaysians like to cheong call Betong. It's should be quite near to the Thai border, right? Heard that there are some strip dancing that sounds quite happening.

The vietnamese gals sound good. I should be in Hatyai on 8-11th Jan. Anybody want to check this place out together?

Will be visiting HDY between 28 dec and 1st jan 2004. Is there any samsters who will be there in that period? Will be very grateful if any samster willing to accept noobie like me to cheong together...

Also, I am going alone (if no forum bro's to join up with), are there any personal safety issues I should be aware of?

never been to Betong bf...best iz cheong with someone who knows the place well...anyway i'm game to check that place out...

HDY iz veri safe lah no problem...sounds like u 1st time cheonging there huh?jus hv to beware of the Gong Tao there where the puyins will suck ur $$$ & ur cok juice dry...

The delphiforum mentioned quite a lot the place. Seems a nice place to go. There is a number of resorts price from RM60 onwards. Booking price 1500-2000 baht (norm), also available is model class which can be up to 7000 baht.
