Hi this is my first post here...I would like to ask a very basic qns on how to communicate with the Thai FL. Do you guys have some basic thai mastery to chat them up?
My only experienced with paid service is with a few China ML many yrs ago...I even have difficulties understand their accent although I'm a Chinese.
Most thai FLs can understand some basic icebreaker english. You just speak slow, clear, simple sentence, eliminate the superfluous english words, they can understand.
They can even work in monolingual countries like japan and korea, so language is the least problem!

I dont know enough thai to be basic mastery, but google translate works well enough. Though i will warn that google translate isnt very good. You should translate from english to thai, copy the thai words and translate back from thai to english. Sometimes will translate correct, sometimes translate wrong. If wrong then just try to use simple english terms to translate.
Like other bros have said, most thai FLs have basic english, maybe pri school, at best some really chatty ones can pass off as fluent in english.
