You can try Maxi if u don`t mind pay abit more , is worth it. If on Budget go for Gabion. Money changer is also nearby. The shop near the T junction where there is a police post.

As for Hotel Paradise, there are good makan places around it towards the main road. I would highly recommend the kampong chicken rice and half boiled kampong chicken egg. Taste really good, especially the half boiled eggs. Order at least 3 eggs, 2 is never enough.
Really tempted to try Hotel Paradise, but being a budget cheongster, I gave it up most of the time. I will suggest to my friends to try this hotel when planning the next trip. And hopefully be able to see the super chio Indon-Chinese receptionist again and oogle at her.
