If the operators know the right person in the Saigon Police department, the 12 midnight curfew will be useless against them. In Vietnam, US$ speaks louder than law. You just got to use US$ to cover the eyes of the police department

Hi guys,
Im sure you guys dont catch up on Saigon's newspapers. Anyway, the municipal laws have just changed for nightspots. Clubs are allowed to close at 2.
To a small extent, connections does allow the clubs to be free from police touble. However, raid do take place on places like Gossip (especially) and Volcano... Usually they come before 12 midnight (b4 the law change) to ensure that they close on time. The clubs sometimes come up with excuse like they just opened or had just renovated, thus they need to open for longer hours to get more well known or recover the costs. Thats when the coffee money gets handed over.
In anycase, if any of our SBF bros get caught up during a police raid. Please don't be chivalrous and try to bribe you and your friends out by offering USD. Most of the time, the police there are to catch underage girls and make sure they close on time. So its a much wiser idea to stay a low profile.

Oh, one more thing. I noticed that Gossip on a friday night when i go there has live performances at about 9....There is a guy performing throwing bottles with fire...Is that a daily occurence? Anyone knows that this is a standard at all the various clubs?

U can get a BJ in the back room of the bar if you want. You might have to buy ladies drink. I not sure. I heard that some of the "bars" will require to pay a bar fine if you want to bring the ger out. It might be better if Sudsoz gives his input on the "cafes" around that area.

First rule about the bars on HBT are that there are no rules.

Typical prices are $45-50 for ST and $60 for LT plus about $20-25 for mini hotel if needed. But they will start asking for 50% more than this and you have to work hard to bargain them down. Some of the mamas are now asking for 3,4,5 lady drinks as well.

Prices vary according to quality and time of night but not always. The mama at the corner of HBT and MTB recently passed up my offer of $60 for a SYT even though it was almost midnight.

Anyway wat is the rate for pickup at Club21 or so called the 3 clubs at the corner as mentioned? Also if Club 21 in Sheraton does that means I can get the FL from Club 21 directly since we are already in e hotel. ANy ideas.

The terrace bar at the top of the Sheraton charges about VND130,000 for a beer and I have never seen women there like you do at the Caravelle. I would expect any WL there to want $100 or so but if you are in-house it might be a bit easier.

There is no certainty on this. I imagine that if they tell a good story they can get away for a few days without being fined - especially if the story is good enough that mamasan believes she is not 'on the job' but visiting a sick relative or some such.

I think the bottom line is to negotiate what you are prepared to pay her and let her sort out the mamasan. For instance you might agree to $200 for a week and what she gets to keep is up to her.

I had one girl who put on a crying and tizzy fit for the mamasan and quit the bar. This set her up for a sympathetic response when she went back for her old job about a week later.

There was another one who quit and used the cash from me as a base to go freelance.

Off to Hanoi on the 21st Sunday and staying there 3 days flying back on the 24th to Sing. Was meant to stay at the Melia Hanoi but is full. Can any bros recommend a good 4 or 5 star hotel in Hanoi that is girl friendly and not to far from Melia?

Also any bros know of any places to pick up girls in Hanoi, will need English speaking girls or as long as they are able to communicate and understand that I want some fun.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Or you can stay at hanoi hotel. All major hotels are not far from Melia and will only take you not more than 30~45minutes to travel around hanoi.

Enjoy your stay there. A bit cold now about 15 to 18 degs. Make sure you have bed warmer.

Bro, I was in that Hotel last week but now in SG. wrong timing... next time perhaps... Since you are Newbies, there is one or two things that I would like to highlight to you.

1. Becareful of the taxi U take. Try Vinasun or Saigon tourist. There are some Fake taxi around that will cost you much more.

2. Those guys outside the hotel can arrange lady for you if you need.

3. Try a Cafe call "Window Cafe", there are lots of pretty chicks there, it is good for pass time activity.
