noone can really give you a exact and confirm answer for that at this moment... let's just put it at VERY LOW for HIV.

as for STDS.. the chances are MUCH MUCH higher..

Hi Bro Big Sexy,

I visited a health center somewhere early Feb.
As u know, tat girl perform on me.

Now feel like getting cold/flu soon but very very mild type.

I very scared that i might get HIV. Any prove to it ? So funny all come near each other. But no fever till now though window still so wide. Very scared. Another thing, i got that massage girl hp no. Knew that she went for her test yesterday. "Good to go also". She told me not to worry maybe i heaty or whatsoever. She told me last time during massage that she dont anyhow perform on customer 1. She also afraid she ganna. She told me, those perform on u risk higher !!! Anyway, no prove.

Anyone know i can have blood test within 3-4wks after contact ? i know that 3mths will be more accurate. Pls advice above. Thanks

i think u abit paronoid. But on the other hand, even she tested neg yesterday does not mean she is neg today. Rem the testing is gd for the past 3mths(window period). Anyway the more u worry, the more systoms will appear cos ur brain starts to play tricks on u. Just lay off and wait 2-3 mths and do the test again. Good luck gd health.

I know how it feels like brother... I've been through the same shit myself...

To put your mind at ease... here are a few points to note:

1. Yes, you can go for a blood test from 3 weeks onwards. Most people do develop the antibodies after 3 weeks to 4 weeks. However, to be really sure, it's 3 months. And to be absolutely sure, 6 months. So my advice is to go for 1 test after 4 weeks (to give yourself a morale booster), 2nd test after 3 months (to be confirmed ok), and 3rd test after 6 months (absolute peace of mind).

2. Most people don't develop symptoms from HIV infection. Those who do develop symptoms usually have them after 3 weeks.

If you used a condom throughout the sex act, you are at very very low risk for HIV. However, you are at considerable risk for viral STDs which are transmitted via skin to skin contact... ie Herpes and Genital Warts.

Condoms do not provide much protection for these diseases as there is always contact between the labia and the base of the penis and the scrotum which is not covered by the condom.

Been reading the past post and happen to come across this post, so if go tested at the 6th week at AFA will be consider almost accurate? Taking into consideration that other countries are using 6 to 8 weeks as window periods?
