I was in Raffles Place to run some errands and went for lunch at the China Square food court. It was crowded and I manage to find a vacant seat at the row of tables outside the food court sharing my table with 3 guys apparently all colleagues in a nearby office. One was a local Chinese in his 40s and the other 2 were foreigners in their 20s.... an Indonesian & a Filipino. They were discussing where to have fun next weekend during the holidays and lamenting the dearth of cheonging places in Singapore. The older man was recommending his 2 younger colleagues to go JB and have fun..... and Was hard selling GBW to them. I couldn't help joining their discussion and offered my advice but the older man was adamant GBW was the "BEST" fun place in JB....He claimed to be their regular and highly recommend that place..... I asked him when was the last time he visited GBW and his answer surprised me..... He last went there more than a year ago.

I told him the situation has changed and GBW in now the worst place in JB but he refused to believe me.... well let them find out for themselves next weekend.

Do you know how much is it to just pay for the food and use the pool? Maybe that's the only thing worth going to GBW? But I think the pool also cui so only saving grace should be the food. If food also lousy, then hope ISIS bomb this place asap
