Bangsen's a good, quiet place to bring your gf for a nice private getaway:
> Only 80kms away from bkk outskirts or easy 1 hour by car or minivan taxi (bus slower)
> Popular with thais (especially weekends with bkk trippers), hardly any farangs
> Good, fresh and reasonably priced seafood
> Day market in town with all kinds dried seafood stuff (almost 1km shops selling same stuff)

But the sea is not good for swimmming, only leisurely beach paktor or jalan2.

THE place to stay is Tide Resort, pricier than rest. But if you go before end Aug, there's a promo direct with hotel webbie at bht1800 nett incl abf(resellers doing bht2.2-2.3k).

There's a new Walking Street (nothing like Pattaya's) with night market and concerts this period. Most of everybody heading there in evening.

Caveat: Not a place to chiong. Transport is by songtaew. But there's this big MP Galaxy to skive (when your gal does her hair for odd hour or 2) Not far from civilisation too, got Carrefour, Big C. Just a diversion away from urban bkk if you are up to it

If you looking for LT the best bet will be Claudia ( a bit pricey...girls...average overall), sian some FLs in Hollywood Disco, or further down Spice Club...that will be your best bet...!

Let me share something with you.....once I manage to get one girl at Talak Huey Hwang while having duck mee soup....hahahahahah! (pure luck)

Had a getaway weekend in Bangsen (Chonburi) in Tide Resort with my side dish. Bangsen's a quiet, sleepy sort seaside place -an easy 1 hour drive away from Bkk. Hardly any farangs, no aggs.. but still got 1 arb nam MP Galaxy. Some nightspots popular with local university crowd. And there's even a Tawandaeng beer joint (Playman, your moo knuckles).
