Tried a different place .. I picked up a copy of RakuRaku magazine for free at JJ Massage. Going through it I found "The Place", labeled as a Philippine Pub, on Thong Lor near Soi 13. I miss pinays in Bangkok, so I went to hunt it down.

It's on the 7th (top) floor of a slightly rundown building, just above a Jap karaoke called X-Club (there is also Y-Club and tons of others featured in RakuRaku .. judging from the pictures Camy Lip has the most cuties). The building is the 2nd one on your left, walking from Soi 13.

When I went in the mamasan (nice lady, early 30s) jumped on me to explain prices. In short, 1000thb consumables, and another 1000thb drink vouchers for the ladies, so normally 2000thb to enter. I said too much for a first time, so she waived the 1000thb vouchers. I was still entertained by various ladies throughout the evening, with no pressure, so that was cool.

As I was solo, I got a little single couch. The normal clientele are indeed Japanese who come in groups of 3 or 4. Before you sit down, mamasan ask what you want to drink, I opted for whisky and a big carafe of whisky was brought to the table, together with ice and soda. Glass never gets empty, drink yourself into a coma if you like. Well, for 1000thb, you better do your part.

The gals I spoke to all come from Manila. They aren't super beautiful, and I saw no dirty hanky panky going on like in those disgusting Duxton pubs (how I miss them). But they are super friendly, and attend to you very well. At one point they announced it's showtime and did some touching choreographed dance routines. They are no coyotes, but sweet enough.

When I left, mamasan gave me vouchers for 500thb drinks and 5x100thb lady drinks, so I guess next time will also cost me 1000thb.

Worth it for bros looking for GFE with no bonking and singing karaoke in a very friendly environment. I went to Soi Cowboy afterwards.

Haha you cheong until no where to cheong until go to Jap G-Clubs. Will be in Tokyo end of this month. Maybe re-visit the Gentlemen (strip) Clubs.

was in bkk over the weekend.
stayed at fraser suites .
which gave me and my pals complimentary access to The Bed and Qbar.

well, qbar mostly working girls.( typical look )
the chio one i saw were normal girls out to have fun.

The bed is as usual, like our Zouk here , lots of
pretend to act hi-so gals with their farang bf,
and those really hi-so girls on a girls night out.

ended the night at bossy, but not really our scene.

second night , went to RCA , lots of cute puyings here man.
no action, but got a few numbers for follow up.

tats all, for this bkk trip. didnt go for any p4p

Haiz, true .. Last night made a little discovery in Nana Plaza .. namely the Mandarin bar upstairs (there are two, one you go upstairs) is more Bacarra than Bacarra :-) Very eye candy. But girls very spoilt too. I asked mamasan to take a LD off my bill because the gal went to sit with other customer after one sip, leave me for 30+ minutes.

Wow that's a bit harsh Tony Stark.

Romance does happen.. but it will take a lot of luck, sacrifice and hard work to make it happen. Throwing lots of baht all over the place does make you a little bit of a sucker, though, as they would simply assume you have what it takes to flash them around in the first place.

Hey I'm not directing to anyone in particular regarding the "sucker" issue. I'm just speaking in general terms.

Sorry I don't go to night clubs or bars to find romance with lots of luck, sacrifice and hard work.

My extra cash is locked up in banks. I don't flash them around.

That's why bro rocksoff and me can hit if off well. We prefer to spend like a poor man drinking beers in bars and clubs. Observe who are the money grabbers and siam (avoid) them. My G-Club mummies know I am "stingy". At one point I go to G-Clubs almost everyday and start to mingle with the Thai guys (members) at the bar area. Only when I spot some talent to my fancy then ask her to sit down for "interview" and mind games. Those were the days!

I play my own style. To each his own. LOL.
