They can't go round pointing finger at any girl to say she's the prostitute? Conversely, why can't they point the finger to say the man is the gigolo?

Just because both check-in to cheap quickie hotel (1hr, 2hr, whole night), also not wrong, both consenting adults are settling their human urge. It's a personal & private matter between the 2 persons.

Only possible 2 outcomes when raided:

• Easy way out (c/w hidden implications) Deny knowing the girl, acknowledge it's a transaction.

• Your particulars taken down & will be called as witness to testify, when authority press charges on the girl.
• Acknowledge you know the girl- genuine claim.

• Able to provide her personal particulars & provide details accurately
• (But if the authorities wanna cause inconvenience & detain is still possible - bona fidé)

Just to further illustrate on the implications for both outcomes.

Acknowledging it was a transaction:
The girl gets her 1way ticket to the locker. But the man doesn't walk free, he's required to assist & provide testimony in statement so the authorities can compile evidence to press charges. (So, it is possibly for a 48hr coffee buffet session, courtesy of the boys in blue, and repeat coffee sessions when required)

Denying it was a transaction, and both know each other's details:
They can still play punk & they have rights to detain her on grounds of suspicion. They will interrogate & scrutinize every page of passport, demand details for frequency of visits, lodging details, guarantor/sponsor for visit (if any) etc. (It is also possibly for a 48hr coffee buffet, courtesy of the boys in blue, and repeat coffee sessions when required)

It is also opportunity for them to compound and make her release possible only by bail via court ruling. For which, if you are willing shall have to cough the sum out. Until investigations complete, acquitted from charges, you may get your bail$ back.

Civil suit can only take place if mistreatment & abuse was rendered to the victim while in their custody (Abusing officer must/need to be identified). Basically, 2 consenting adults engaging in private activity within confines of any premise, regardless of residence or hotel room is not a crime.

Use of budget hotels for convenience is not wrong, they are readily available to any walk-in without prior reservations.

To use or not to use personal residence for such engagements is discretional.

Adultering engagement is private & personal between the 2 consenting adults, boys in blue have no right to interfere. Duration of affair is nothing of concern for the boys in blue.

bro slider, i think u misunderstood twinseeker. the 1 getting detained is the lady, and he was just giving possible scenarios for the 2 outcomes.

so the question then is whether the woman in engagement is factually somebody the patron knows or picked off the street. if it's a stranger off the street, then the answer is obvious.

while if the lady is a FB (local/foreign), then the dilema sets in - for there'd be traces of communication on the phone leading back to the man.

I guess like what Bro tchinkoo mentioned, the problem is those that the AV are targeting, are those on social visit pass ladies that work as FL. Which I believe according to the law is illegal.
Thus the raid on hotels to 'weed' out such ladies. Since those FL are not considered to be prostitute. And by engaging in paid sexual transaction, they had breech the law already.
