Advice on divorcing ( behalf of my good frd)

i suspect the wrong investment made the wife very dulan. But the real divorce reason may be 3rd party, so conveniently use the bad investment as a factor

As long as one party is insistent on a divorce, it will happen. Just a question of how long it takes as it means going to court.

TS, sympathize with ur friend but unless he can change the wife's mind, it will happen and the lawyers will be the ones that benefit.

U do know that they can serve a court order on ur friend right? Anyway, if the marriage cannot be salvage, no point trying to delay....get it over and done as soon as possible. The sooner it's done, the sooner ur friend can move on.

Will he get into more trouble if he avoid courts order?
My guess is that yes

Dun play play with the court...ur friend might end up getting jail if he dun turn up in court...coz this happens to my friend's before...

And ask ur friend to let the wife go lah...pls lah...grow up..dun be a childish kid...her wife no longer loves him, why still hold on to her.

A guy i knew did this to the ex wife once...he hangs on to the ex wife for 3 years...end up he got attached first and wanted to remarry but cannot coz after 3 years up, the ex wife who have an adultery was dumped by the bf coz no commitment mah. She end up refusing to divorce on his terms and ask for huge compensation inorder for the divorce to go through.

I'm no lawyer but isn't ur friend looking to destroy his own life? The court can issue a warrant of arrest. If he goes to jail, would tat not destroy his career?

The only way out for him is to work it out with the wife or get relatives/friends/mediation help if he is still trying to salvage the marriage. If after all these...it doesn't help....move on.

I think you should advice your friend to let it go. The divorce will happen if one party insist and file for it, siam also no use.

Initial jail term is like a week or so....then increase if he refuse to adhere to court orders....seriously is it worth it...ask ur friend to just let the wife goes and move on with life....hatred only breed hatred....what's the point...

Whatever the reason for divorce....As long as there is no love....just let the other party go....hatred and vengenance will not solve anything....
