sigh... i used to think that when i was in sec 5. Now i realise life is not just about char bor. do those things that interest you , work hard, earn money, take care of ur loved ones (ie family) and things will fall into place laaaaa.

haha spent quite some time reading this thread. realised that im not the only one with this problem. What is true love until now i still dunno. those female frens i hang out with no chemistry. those i like dun like me, then those i dun like like me. Can true love ever be found haha? in the past ..i always tends to make my final judgement after 1 or 2 date with gals. perhaps i was too picky then..
It's better to start off as a friend and slowly progress to the next stage after understanding each other better...

Bro Playboy82, my current situation quite similar to urs however true love do happened to me during my much younger teen years. That's when gals dedicate themselves wholly to relationship regardless of the bread issue. As long as the feel is there, they will indefinitely give their all to you. Then, I even had ex sponsoring mi for my outings & bike instalments etc.. BUT those were the good days... Now nearing thirties & with not much of a good income, though I managed to own a car, my fortunes had greatly reversed. All I can say is that when you are a man up there with wealth & status even the fart you omit is fragrant, while if you are down and out no matter how much efforts & sincerity you put in will come to naught. Juz like I was going fine wif my recent gf until I told her of the financial difficulties I am facing now. She did not break off wif mi rightaway but you can sense the change of attitude in her until we finally broke off. Then I thought my luck has came when during a roadshow where I was working, there was this pretty gal staring at mi. Well I approached her for her number, got it & we went out a couple of times. However I was utterly dissapointed that she just made use of me to buy things for her everytime when we meet & that she always expected to be treated to expensive restaurants. Later I was to discover that I was not particularly handsome when she stared at mi then but that she kinda always use this trick to get to know guys for the purpose of them sponsoring her. These are just some of the many romantic setbacks I have gone thru over the years, so its hard not to get your ideals dampened..
In short, true love to mi is something I had always hope for but kinda of given up, for now I will dedicate myself to my career & my dream will be that of driving a luxurious sports car & living in my own private property bringing back different babes every fortnight...
