Agreed on this. It's hard to anticipate what happens in life. A loving and sexually active couple can change as time goes by, even if they're married and with kids. It's how they deal with it that makes the difference.

I think that is one of the reasons he is not jealous or doesn't show it to me.

Paying off the debts was a choice I made as I didn't want it to be an issue that may cause friction now or in the future.
