I have not been to Northern or Central vietnam yet. I believe it will be worth to go sightseeing in N and C VN. I have seen photos from friends who travel from N to S VN. Nice sencery of N and C VN. Weather will also be good for travelling.

In Southern VN (mekong and HCMC). If u have not been there, can go look see. 4D/3N is more than enuff liao. Standard day tours are to cu chi tunnel, cao dai temple and mekong delta. Other than that, nothing much, weather hot hot hot. I always fall sick after trips to HCMC.

Night life.... disco closes early... FL prices at @USD$100 ST.... No fish tank... massage gals offer only HJ... KTV not wild.... Thailand is better.

But how come i still so in love with VN?.... i got a gf in vn.. thats why. It make alot of different when u have someone to accompany u. If you planned to go VN next time, get a VN gf 1st..

actually i prefer to fire and forget...... most i would do is book some1 for couples of day if there are good chemistry. done that in BKK. Yes, i do agree the feeling is great to have a gf in oversea ventures, but everything come with a cost..... u might not see it now....

There are some bros who claimed that massage in HCM only offer HJ at the most. I beg to differ on that. There are still some massage outside the central districts of Q1, Q3 and Q5 that offers BBBJ and even FJ in the massage. But these places are quite rare now and they charge much higher prices as compared to a few years ago. But of course, Sing Dollars to VND has risen a lot for the past 5 years. When i was first there, S$1 = 7500VND. But now, it can easily fetch over 10,000VND per S$.

HCM is still quite fun, just that you need to know where.

hhhmmm... should had gone for that during my 1st trip to VN. Now kana tied up by my viet gf liao.

Anyway i also can have BBBJ and FJ and massage and much more from my gf....

but at least for phuket, i can go for snorkling and scuba diving, and try to get into some havoc in the night time.

No one seems to be considering Vung Tau. Vung Tau is a beach resort area about 90 mins down river on ferry from HCMC. Beaches, golf, monuments etc and an active bar life. Only trouble seems to be finding GF hotels.

I thought only problem is finding good looking gals.
Good ones all come to Saigon, what is left behind, errrrrrrrrr.....can also la, drink a few more glasses, turn down the lights etc, still can la.

GF hotels.....everywhere. Most don't even bother when the gals went back with us after disco.

I had been to Vung Tau. GF hotel not much of a problem.

Just to share about - Vung Tau
Vung Tau is a resort town in the province of Dong Nai 125 km from Saigon. The town is a long strip approximately 14 km long and 6 km wide. Where the southern tip of town meets the ocean stand two famous mountains Nui Lon (Truong Ky) and Nui Nho (Tao Phung) or Large mountain and Small mountain.
Vung Tau used to be the beach destination for the rich and famous in Saigon. Its beautiful beaches and its proximity to the South capital of Vietnam sure helped. Nowadays you can reach Vung Tau from Saigon in an hour with a fast ferry. You can also get here by taxi and/or bus. The ride will take two and a half hours by road.
If you want to relax on the beach for more than a weekend, I recommend going somewhere else in Vietnam (Phu Quoc, Muine, Nha Trang)

anyways its been real fun meeting up with the seniors, as life was a real bore when i first arrive here...
