Is this gwailo/foreigner sentiment a big thing in HCMC? I find the girls here don’t really open up unless you can speak Viet. Whereas in Bangkok, the Thai girls really make an effort to communicate even if they can’t speak English or Chinese. I have been to many countries and usually the girls can be charmed so long as you are funny, generous & kind but the Viet girls are like very guarded.

Also, is it the language or do Viet girls sound a bit bitchy & mean? I see more pretty girls on the street but they always sound like they are scolding their husband/boyfriend. Then they always seem to speak down to service staff. Not criticizing them, just wanna better understand the country.

Yeah Vietnamese the language sounds them jialat but it's the way they talk bah. THe lady that serviced me her voice damn nice and sound very gentle. If only more vietbus can talk like that

I’m no Andy Lau but usually get along very well w/ WLs, even the Koreans & Romanians. Yet to figure out these Viet WLs, either detached or very fake. Had one high end massage girl give great service but kept screaming ‘Lao Gong’ at me like that’s supposed to turn me on. Many Viet girls look good but lack that feminine allure of Thai & Japanese girls.

Bro Hurricane is learned siah. I only interested in WLs lah. For civilians & settling down, I think best for Singapore guys to find locals or if want the simpler type, then nice Malaysian girl also suitable.

Perhaps the environment plays a role, kenna shamed by too much judgement from their local peers. One other thing I noticed is that Viet WLs are quite stubborn type, maybe some find them more challenging haha. Still learning, will report back.

Generally they speak loud and doesn't sound nice compared to other languages it's just how the language sounds. However character wise they are nice to me la lol

Those educated one love to learn English so you can talk to them. I join a social club here with 70,000 members but it's not for cheong la, they do however love to meet foreigner and hang out.. if you find someone you fancy can consider to date them.

If you cheong then of coz those you meet are mostly for money.

His telegram group should be he's the organiser? Nothing wrong to be organiser as long as he's honest in his intentions and if he earn something from it then need to let everyone know also. Also set budgets, some kaki maybe ok to spend $2-5k Sgd a night and open bottle $20k a room, some maybe less etc. Normally gatherings like this best to meet up before the trip and get to know each other, those who can click then go together, always a big challenge when not everyone can get along, good luck to the trip ��

I am confirm not the organiser. This group is just set up to pour in ideas and see where to go. I don't decide where to go. Based on voting only. As for budget, I don't consider myself rich will just play like local there or normal tourist there. Don't wanna be carrot and won't pay more and inflate prices. Anyway we already have a group. Just asking for those going this week and alone if feel left out and no where or dunno where to go can join in if there are activites. Not necessary must join the activity as we also have our own activities to do.
