Yup bro u r rite... i was a backslided christian too during my army days... Christians r allowed to divorce based on the reason of adultery... cos sex can only be within in the context of marriage... but they have to go through some counseling first... If the pastor find the spouse is still unwilling to settle down and be faithful to the marriage... then bobian divorce will be advised... but in this case... since her hubby is still willing to go through the marriage counseling with her... perhaps this marriage can still be salvaged... After all they have to spare a thought for their kids.....

to me there are 2 possibilities. 1) he got feelings & conscience, caught in a dilemma. scare to get closer to u & all the old feelings come back & scare to put u in a position if your hubby finds out

2) he testing you to see if got chance to have some "hanky panky" with you despite your ongoing marriage. after a few contacts, dun think it's worth his time as possibility of that is quite slim

bro zerofighter, after reading thru every single posts, I really do not share the same sentiments as others here. What u and Yvonne shared together is true deep love. You cared too much for her and no such thing as treating her like a friend. Every single day, u r tormenting her and yourself, likewise the same for her.

Everyone tells u the same thing, keep your vows to your wife, don't be unfaithful blah blah and treat Yvonne as a friend. However, emotionally u r already committing adultery isn't it? Since deep down inside u know ur love for Yvonne is undying, and your love for your wife is merely fulfilling a responsibility, why not take up the courage and confess everything to your wife and look for a possible solution? If u cant love your wife the way u love Yvonne, its better to set her free isn't it?
