Hi.. New here.. I've spent hours trying to read finish this thread. And i would like some kinda advice here. Although some of what you bro says here are quite true. But some how I think if you're persistent enough, it will pays off. Defination of the word " Perserverance: Going in the own course of direction disregard past failure and obstacles."
You see.. Last year, i've fallen for a girl in my company ( to be frank.. Its a girl of another race) and after much observation, i decided to go chat her up and ask for her name and number. To my surprise, i got and i thought things would go well from there ( Although some might say " You dun eat and shit at the same place" )
We had a few calls on the nite and found out that she was seeing someone else already. So i waited and waited while maintain my friendship with her. And here's the sad part, She would sometime ans my call or totally ignore me when i sms her. Friends have told me to give up. But i still holding on and hoping for a miracle to happen. Until lately.. Early january, She had some relationship problem and she was finally single again when i finally got her on the phone and here i am. Thinking that "thank god.. miracle really happened.. And here is my chance now.. " And also.. Initially, both of us was working on 2 different shift timing.. so the chances of meeting her was totally impossible.. But lately.. again.. my prayers has been heard and her shift timing had been changed to my shift timing. I was totally happy and jumped for joy. And so i thuoght that valentine day is drawing nearer and so i pluck up my courage and ask her for a date on that day.. But to my dismay.. Some one actually stepped ahead of me and ask her already.. Which i kinda felt dejected and feeling devasted.. "my god..." and so.. i only had my tools with me on that day.. I tried calling her yesterday.. and she say that she's on the phone with her friend.. again.. i felt sad.. and in my heart.. i was thinking.. "it must be the guy who dated her on v-day.." Can't help but thinking about it for the whole night..

I agree with you on this. I was in love with a guy before... He doesnt have the nice build or smooth face or gentleman ways (quite MCP), BUT he managed to charm me nonetheless. Of cos, his nice smile helped him to get us to start dating then.

Looking back, he managed to charm other girls too, through his charismatic ways, funny jokes, and his smiles... I loved him but hated him as well...

Charisma is good, but that is not enough. The woman also needs to be stupid enough to believe the bullshit from a guy's silver tongue. Maybe that's why many guys go for younger, more impressionable, less seasoned girls In Singapore, to me, that's any girl under the age of 30.
