Tipping in ktv is $500 onwards, some joints are $700 to $1000.
Good grief. Night clubs are beyond reach of an average Joe.
Back to Taiwan, you are right that the average costs of living and salary are not too high by our standard, but the bonking damage is way beyond most salary the average Taiwanese can dream of. Worst, paying high fees also may not guarantee you will sure get a Taiwanese FL. She might just be one that comes from Xiamen or Fijian who can command a TW accent.
