Took me a while to find the place (noob) as it was quite well hidden.

Disappointing experience.

Had a back aches this morning which was sports related and thought I should go to this place (where I've visited a few times before with ok experience). Actually saw an osteopath on the same street but was shut today.

So I get there and there is no one at receiption. After about 30 seconds a girls come out from one of the massage rooms starts speaking mandarin (which I dont understand) and waving her hands. An old lady then comes out from the room on the right (where people usually watch tv) and with manages to say in English "in 1 hour"- so I get the point and go to a cafe nearby to pass time.

come back in an hour, another girl sits at the receiption and books me in for 1 hour. Asks me "do you want a membership card?" I declined. The old lady I saw before, also hangs around the receiption and giggles for whatever reason.

So I make it to the room and change and to my horror that very same old lady from the receiption comes in. She is about 45 years old, not pretty at all, quite short, very big and wears a short black dress that is very off putting on her. As she comes in she is talking on a mobile phone, then hangs up starts texting and gestures me to lie on the table. Maybe I should have asked to change at that point but not sure if this is even allowed. I don't know, maybe they thought that I am a stupid desperate tourist so I'd agree to anything for a HJ.

The massage starts which is very so so. She keeps asking me every 10 minutes "OK?" I say "Yes" and then she giggles. Offputtingly. Massage was not strong, but to be fair at least it was a massage, rather than just brushing the skin. After 35 minutes I am asked to flip around. 3 minutes after that she asks "massage?" and touches me, to which I say "no, thank you". She repeated the question 3 or 4 times, doing the thumbs up sign with both hands and saying "massage good", which only made me think of worse things, but I was firm. While on my back, I've also noticed another unpleasant thing - she must have had a running nose and every 3-4 minutes she would wipe her nose with the back of her hand. Nice.

After about 50 minutes, massage was finished, I dressed up and left. I thought of leaving her a $10 tip, but then I thought - wait a minute, I am not in the US where even for a terrible service you need to tip. So limited my damage to just $40 for massage. Lesson - book in advance and request a particular lady.

Face: 3/10
Body: 3/10
Massage: 5/10

My back still hurts and I want to try another place tomorrow. Any suggestions welcome!
