I remember my friends and i went there early at 8 plus almost 9pm, the waiter or waitress told us all seats are reserved. How can it be unless it's really good business on that day.

The tables mostly are reserved at early hours. The staffs there also told us full house as early as 8 plus. So this pub works on reservation and they expect customers to order bottles and reserve in order to get a table.

We dont want 2nd level becos the atmosphere is not there unless you wanna sing KTV with frds.

For those who cant get a table at Mask 51, you might wanna try Lookers pub at lor 28. The place is big and plenty of tables but the bad thing is the girls not as pretty and not as many as Mask 51.

Lookers play techno and mandrain pop at times. Got liveband there as well but not as good as Thai Disco in Golden Mile.

Yesterday go J51. They changed the band to a 5 girls band. 3 chio bu.
Crowd build up quite fast. When I leave at 10pm, the place is nearly full house.

after reading this thread then i know that there is a 2nd level and they are upstairs and booked the tables below...

personally i like the music at Mask more...its more of retro and R&B

the other pubs is playin techno...and cantopop...

i've gone to M51 only a few times..didn't know it's that bad..

how are the ones near this one like v2 or 678?

Have been to Lookers before , well I can say SOMETIMES the gals are not bad and it seems like now most of the pretty ones besides those at M51 all go there , must really go there again .

As for the liveband there I remember got one set of them the Thai gals SYT and very chio and I ever bought flowers for them ..... not those gals who were dancing the at pole .

Before tat, we also been turn away.
There are one manager and superivor, if they need to reserved table , need to info how many jug or bts u ordering.

If you open bts, i think they will let you have one of the reserved table which i see before.

Bro MkMk glad that you stepped out and say a few words regarding their fucked up attitude and policies. This shows that it's not just a few isolated cases.

51 Mask must be making a killing now as 72 and 678 is closed. Luckily V2 is still opened otherwise 51 Mask will be enjoying monopoly on this stretch.

Frankly speaking there's nothing wrong with imposing policies such as theirs as a business is about maximising profits. What irks me is their yaya and hao lian attitude. There's one 40s looking guy with moustache always wearing long sleeve shirt. Must be the manager or the supervisor. The way he talks is so yaya. It's no wonder the staff also have fucked up attitude.

Obama believed in the power of the internet. He succeeded. Now even Lee Hsien Loong also jumping on the bandwagon. If you run a business you'll know that you cannot solely rely on regular customers. Naturally as time goes by patronage by certain regulars will decrease. By turning off new potential walk-in customers away. It is a foolish way to cut off your new crop of regular customers to make up the shortfall. Let's see how long the good times last for 51 Mask.

I must agree with you that sometimes girls are quite ok. Those girls dancing with the poles should be singapore dancers if i'm not wrong.

I think you are referring to the thai girls performing with the liveband.

Lookers is also like mask 51 which has 2 local dancers dancing with the poles.

i remember they used to charge quite high for their beer/liquor. don't know their charges now. but will revisit if its not as high as before.
