Thermae Coffee / Cafe is a FL downstairs bar ( there is a staircase on the left but outside the hotel and going downstairs to the bar ) and located just below Ruamchitt Plaza & Hotel , 199 Sukhumvit Road, just before Soi 17.

Opens at 8 pm. Alcohol is cheap with thb100 per gin & tonic. You either pay your drinks at the cashier or to the waiters ( old men ). Toilet is 20 baht per entry. Room upstairs for ST in Ruam Chitt Hotel.

And as alexey said, " dress up properly " and " smiled " a lot at the girls ( 60- 70 of them around when i was there ). Buy your target a drink ( cheaper than in SC , NEP ) and smiled and use your mouth piece in a nice, gentle manner.

Thermae cafe is located at Sukhumvit Soi 15, its at the basement of Ruanchit Hotel. Try walking along the street (beside main Sukhumvit Rd) from Soi 13 to 15 after 8pm and u would see some FLs standing outside the cafe.

Wah... 2 weeks not online, and the thread really grows

I'm back from a good 1 week break in BKK (though OC was with me for 3 of the 7 days). As usual, now suffering from LOSWD (LOS Withdrawl Syndrome).

Anyway, has been back for a while, but been bored down with tons of work, and down with flu (NOT H1N1 hor...i took the vaccine 2 weeks prior to the trip!) Promised Bro ML to write a FR, so here is it. Not going to be too detailed, cos my head is still a little drowsy from the medicine. Will include my trip in Patts here as well, so there is some continuation.

Here goes...

Day 1
Took the 6pm Tiger flight out, and reached BKK at around 7.20pm. Waited for 2 of my friends, T and K, who were on an SQ flight. By the time we met up (those idiots were late), we reached the hotel at around 10pm. Headed for Soi CB at 10.30pm. Bro ML was in Patts so the 3 of us went alone. For the first time, I took the role of the tour guide. 555. WEnt to a few bars (since K is first timer, and T is second-timer there), namely Rawhide (as usual), Baccara, and Sharks. Surprisingly, for a weekday, Rawhide and Shark were super packed, while Baccara were not. Nothing much in Rawhide, but I do like going there as I have come to know some of the gals over the past few trips. At least got some home-coming feeling. 555+ Went over to Baccara, and sat with one of the gals I knew. Had a chat, and was trying to find out where my tirak went to after quitting the scene (anyway, she was mad at me... see my FR on my previous trip). In between, had to run out of the bar a couple of times, as T needed help to locate his thai FB. In the end, only headed for Shark around 1am, and most of the gals were already off duty. Sian... and for the first time in my many trips... i actually had to sleep alone in BKK. KNS! What to do... bring friends bo bian.

Day 2:

Slept until 9am, and met up with T for breakfast. After that, T wanted some action with massage, so decided to head for Akane. Forgot it only open at 12pm. So, no choice, headed back to hotel. Bro ML and I met up earlier to have dinner, and then picked T & K up later. Headed for walking st. Went to a few joints... the first was something "secret" or something. Cannot rem. Not bad lah. Went to Airport next, as I wanted to see how the "stewardess" look. Not bad, but did not like the layout of the bar. Too long, too narrow. After that, went to Windmill. Now, this is the place that did not go too well with us that night. As T & K were rather new to the AGG scene, they got a little carried away buying drinks from the puyings, to the mamasen and even the waitresses! Both Bro ML and I warned them to slow down when the bill came up to 2k+ within an hour, but to no avail, and we did not want to say much. By the end of it, it hit 5k+, and there were some discrepancy with the no. of drinks bought. But since no one was keep tabs (the drinks went too fast), it was hard to argue. Anyway, K paid up, and bf a gal there as well.

I decided to hit What's UP, since I had my last tirak there. She was not working. Called her, and she told me she was having her period. What luck. Anyway, saw another cute gal, Nam, and got her to sit with me. Pretty friendly, fun, so decided to BF her, since I do not want the same situation where I have to sleep alone again! Anyway, after that, bro ML and K headed back to hotel, while T and I, with the two gals in tow, went to supper. Pretty fun... Headed back to hotel after that. This time, T did not join us as he was not feeling too well. ML, K and myself hit Walking Street, and as we were walking, we saw BACCARA! Yes, Baccara in Patts was opening that very night. We decided to venture in and have a look. Similar setup with the one in BKK, but classier. But the glass ceiling a little small though. Anyway, it was funny to see that the gals did not really know where to stand on the stage, and the mamasen was trying to direct them. A rather comical sight. The drinks were very cheap (think it is due to opening night), with soft drinks at 59bht, and beer at 90bht. LD were at 105bht. Not that many pple there at first, and the crowd grew after that. Day 5:
Again, the day was filled with makan and shopping. No choice lah... gotta do my duty as OC's envoy. Else, OC will get suspicious. Went massage, then went Patpong for night market. Actually did not know the night market was where the AGG are. Never been to Patpong. Had wanted to prevent OC from seeing all these so that she would not be suspicious when I come to LOS. Met ML there ard 12.20am, but before I could warm my seat, the bars closed at 1am!!! Sian more than half. Headed back hotel and suck my thumb.

Day 6:
After all the shopping, met up with ML to have dinner at Tawangdang. OC liked te place, and we had a pretty good dinner. Made plans privately with ML to cheong SCB again that night, so, cooked up another excuse again. But to put OC at ease, ML took us to Suan Lum Night Bazaar (or something like dat), and my OC was happy shopping. Actually, I also quite like the place. It's like Chaktuchap without the afternoon heat. After which, ML brought us back to hotel, and I settle OC before heading out. (Told OC that ML likes to meet up Singaporean friends in BKK for chitchat).

This time, it was much better. Headed for Shark first, and was oggling at the group of pretty puyings swinging their bums around. Slept late, went shopping, headed for Airport, and came back to the harsh reality of life........
