In your scenario, the males are moving around to grab a limited static resource, the water from a well. This static resource cannot move around to select who to pair up with. In reality, this is not the case. Girls can move around to find partners too. They can reject people, they can actively seek people according to their own wants/needs. And of course they have different wants/needs. Some of them want money, in which case they're looking for a "sugar daddy" or at least some token allowance for their companionship. Others want companionship, but prefer the guy pays everything for some reason or the other.

Simply put, I'm not looking for such people. I'm looking for females who desire companionship, and who can appreciate that this is a mutual affair. Once you appreciate that, it should be acceptable for each to pay their own share. And if you don't find this acceptable, then it means you don't appreciate that this is a mutual affair. And if you don't appreciate that this is a mutual affair, then I'm not so interested in meeting such a person. Listing "pay your own share" is already a kind of filter for me I suppose.
