Braek up mean, last time still had a few special moment together. THe sick part is, both like each other, but then get to know too early, very impossible to be parktor until married.

Then some yrs later, see her happily together with another guy at a fren's home party. Both see each other, blush and exhange greetings, deeply engross in chatting for whole night, catch up on old times, still have the cheerful pinch and nudge, but at the end of party, have to say bye-bye.

KNow deep inside, both stil have the unwilling feeling to say bye bye (she keep turning back to smile and stare, but the jealous Bf keep rushing her to the door). Sign~~~~, life still go on.

I've been thinking of my ex-gf (the one I love the most) almost every minute for almost a decade. This despite marrying someone else about 7 yrs back. It certainly doesn't help that I still have an on-off relationship with her till this date.

The only peace to my sanity is that she is not a local and travels to SG at the most twice a year... however, her travels have increased lately. She has recently arrived in SG and no matter how much I want to see her, my family commitments where time is concerned is making it very difficult. Heart is aching so badly to see her but restraint is required not to tear my family apart. Will only see her when my family duties (excl being faithful) are settled.

Thats when I just want to go back to sleep and carry on dreaming.

I actually dislike dreams like these as they take you up only to bring you down. But then again, isn't that what love is like most of the time... takes you up and brings you down.... sigh.

I still think of my 1st love & we still keep in contact but not always. She now have her own bf/husband & I have my gf. The feeling is still there but we know we cannot be together.... that life.

Its a sad statement and I can understand where you are coming from. But as you mentioned, thats life. Even if it was perfect, we would find some way to screw everything up.

I like the last sentence of yours, & I find it very very true. Maybe is just we human, love to screw around no matter is gals or our life up. Is only after we screw up big time, then we start thinking back.

Why this have to happen over & over again. Dun we learn from the 1st screw up? Alas..... The truth is we never learn. Even we learned from the 1st, we soon forget & screw up even bigger time the 2nd time when there is nothing to salvage from it. Sad.......
