. went into Utopia, Colonge 2, Hi Class, Nataree, Carnation, Angel
. played in 5 different golf courses
. went to 2 Doi, Doi Suthep 7 Doi Inthanon
. shopped at JJ, Platinum, MBK, Paragon
. drank beer at 2 pavillon in Central World (Tiger and Singha) over 2 nites
. didn't get drunk at Scratchdog..VSOP is my drink
. couldn't get into RCA, too packed.....
. friend's teerak promised to bring me to Hollywood, but didn't say when.
. drove to Lamphun, visited handicrafts centers
. ate so many somtam poo pla la, BBQ meats, kao ngew, moo kar pak
. ate so many desserts, woooooo......

none of the above at Danok

so will be going to Danok this weekend.... hee hee..... see if can die of boredom or not

Many hotels would increase prices on Fridays, Saturdays, day before and on Thai and Malaysian public holidays, including X-Mas, 31/12/10 and 1/1/11 but would go down to normal rates on 3/1/11.

Fri, Sat, Sun and on public holidays in LOS and Malaysia are the peak periods. Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs are the off peak times.

No room during peak period ?.

Please stay in a THB200 to THB500 per night room in a "guest house" above the shops.

There's Oliver, Heijian, Hi Class and a newer one named Summer or Summer View in addition to Satit Grand View and KPK Hotel which are better in facilities and cleanliness than the older Satit and Oscar hotels.

If less money, you can try out PP Hotel, Hollywood Palace, Firatel and there are many smaller hotels and rooms for rent all over the place.

Didn't see Oliver at first so settled on KPK. My goodness... KPK was farthest and abt 500 metres away from centre of action. Had to take motosai to and from the centre. Walk in rate I paid was 990 baht and they ask for deposit 500 baht which they refunded next day. 2 Breakfast vouchers included
Room was nice and clean- but exterior of hotel and lobby was bit old. Have China Star KTV and lots of Chinese gals (either local or from China) but did not spot any stunners. There is a coyote type club called Wonderland behind KPK- abt one dozen slim and tall chicks. Looks similar to Pattaya , Hello Bangkok but I see they have cultural spin to their shows with cultural costumes. Overall KPK is ok - don't think many people will KPK (Kao peh Kaobo) abt the facilities except for the distance.
Should have booked Oliver as it is the most central and right in middle of the happening spots.

The South will probably be hit by insurgent bomb attacks both before and during the New Year holiday period, national police chief Pol General Wichean Potephosree said yesterday, based on a recent intelligence report.

Most of Yala and Narathiwat provinces are at risk, as well as the Hat Yai district in Songkhla province. Though Pattani is not included in the warning, residents are advised to remain cautious, he said.

He said police "were not taking this warning lightly" and were setting up preventive measures. Wichean was speaking after visiting a police bomb-disposal unit in Yala and reassuring Muslim clerics in the South that scientific evidence would bring justice to the region.

Actually, u have to spent all your money anyway , but rather not to lose them - by theft and carrotchopping.

So, night time ,feel stress where to keep ur property and to sleep soundly if u got companion pick up from the streets instead from the farms. That's why u need safeboxes for stressfree nights.

Any bros got great ideas to keep ur property other than under the bed and pillowcases..... if not ,got to try ST...safe and sound.
