Drama... strikes a chord. My friends have likened my love life to movies... too many twists and turns and plot swings. Strange events that normally would not happen have happened. eg. Bumping into my true love after not contacting for more than a year in a different country... On top of it, she is not Singaporean. Talking about her with friends after not keeping contact for years and receiving a call from her on the spot. Thinking she is in SG and actually driving past her... too surreal.

Enjoy the process... I like that line... I'm doing that now and don't want to worry too much about the future with her.

True, be prepare and give your best shot. Saving some for back up may lead you nowhere for maybe it is that little bit more that is needed to cross the finishing line but alas, you kept it for reserve and time is not on your side for reinforcements.

well, it all depends on the individual's discretion. reservations is just something that lingers at the back of the mind.

if the relationship has gotten to the point where 1 has struggled, braved & fought hard... to the point where, he's only but to make that tiny little extra step to cross the finishing line... i guess, its just beyond reasonable doubt, that he should muster courage & triumph forth. he'd be a fool to give up on that chance, and continue lingering on his reservations.

Emotions is not something which can be controlled and how do u measure ur return from love? Does it mean i have to make her my GF before it's considered a positive return on my "investment"?

So now i try to focus on the process, the interaction with her, rather than jus on the outcome. Even though we didn't end up together, i did thorougly enjoy every moment i spend with her... that's happiness also rite

I needed the safetywear as I have falling down for more than 10 yrs with the same girl. The worst part is that more than 50% of the time, I fall because I get pushed by her... plus get kicked by her when I'm down. Sometimes, I think I'm a sucker for punishment.

Yup... enjoy the ride (in more ways than one) while it lasts. I have told her that even if I only get to spend a few hours a year with her, it would be the best few hours of my life.
