But I must say that my pronunciation sucks. My BX still laugh at me when I try to talk to her in tieng viet. Word wise still ok since we SMS each other abt 5-10 times a day, so got chance to practice my words.

However, my basic course only finishes in Jan, after i come back. No worries about helping me with the accommodation & itinerary in HCM, i'll get my BX to do the work for once, hihi. I'll pass you the book (or better yet, zap/scan to PDF a copy to keep) once i'm done with the basic. Will probably wait a while after before doing Intermediate for greater vocab.

Like they say, need to help yourself before others can help you! So once i come back, i'll post up some info then see how you can help me with my 2nd trip down.

Quite cheap to fly HCM anyway, being cheapo budget traveller like myself, only costs $218 by Jet* to fly there. She says room will be under S$40 per day (4d3n) and food she will take us around to eat.

Ticket price depends on the date u book, sometime late by a few days can be cheaper...

I have recommended a mini-hotel in D1 HCMC in my previous thread, its about $20 per day. You can bring in your gf to stay with u thru out the stay, but do not change gal everyday else they will .....

As for Food, i normally go to chinese restaurant and stall to eat for dinner. 1 restaurant looks classy is called something like "Nha Hang Hoang Long" at Lam Son street, i think next to Caravelle hotel. The food not bad, about 4 dishes about S$40. I go there once every trip. very hong kong style, imho.

Learning through communicating everyday will be much easier than learning through books.

It's supposed to be 18th Jan - 22nd Jan but this might change early or later by a few days, depending on BX schedule.

Will be able to let you know once BX come back and I can confirm. I don't wanna make a promise and later break it... esp to SBF bros!

Anh se di HCM 4 ngay... kg the lang phi gio! (will be 4days in HCM only, cannot waste time! :P )

Find BX need about 2 nights min... coz i also like some bro's here. Very picky. Sometimes sit at J51 can wait up to 4hrs for the right girl to kidnap. lol.
