So? Doesn't mean we have excuses not to play well. It's almost mid-season already. Besides, we are not playing well after a spell of playing fantasy football. We got to be wary of Man U. They are slowly catching up with a game in hand. By drawing at home, we are inviting the chasing pack to catch up. Actually, there were moments in the game where I thought WE are playing for a draw, to top the table. Can't seem to see us trying to find empty places. We are also playing much slower than before, almost leisurely by our standards.

Robbie Keane is shit. I think we should play Kuyt as the main striker and Benayoun as the right midfielder, with Gerrard as the 2nd striker and Mascherano and Alonso covering central midfield.

I'm surprised by how bad Babel is this season. It's almost as if he lost his desire to play for us. If only Babel is in-form, he could have replaced Torres as Babel craves the central striker role when he first joined us.

One of the reasons why our homeground is not like the fortress we used to have is that, we, as fans, played against them. You know what is a pressure cooker? The atmosphere is as such there when, the ball does not find the opponent's net. The cheers turned sour and against ourselves.

Im just as in utter disappointment as any bros here, but what bunnytease said is right, there is no confidence on the pitch. what went wrong? One bigbig issue might be bunnytease himself, a rotation policy. I detest that too. But flash back, he has been trying to feature gerrard, alonso and macherano together in the starting lineup. Whatz left is a limited for the rest. Perhaps having that huge a squad is now da problem. Benayoun has not performed well yesterday (highly linked to not having able to play plenty of matches). Keane is not himself. Torres is injured. Mascherano is losing plot he seems to be dreaming. Dossena.... nothing good to be said

The only person who looked dangerous is my hero Hypia. And the driving force Gerrard seemed to have been playing with lost plot.
Selection policy? Debt? Manager's contracT?

To summarize the current situation so sweetly ' we are top of table ' might not prove that the lads have been playing well, but then again its a better statement then to shoot them down and bring down the confidence to yet another whole lowlow lvl.

This season for us to lift the trophy? I still feel its highly possible, what I cant swallowed is the fact that we COULD have been 6 points ahead.

Oh well, you will never walk alone. Suffering and suppressing the anger coz thats life. We are top. We can do it.

well, i guess if we r frustrated, those super die hard fans in Liverpool will be even worse than us! i wonder hw can Pool kill this ghost called 'inconsistency' which had been haunting us for so many donkey years??? 6 pts dropped at HOME agt lowly opponents ... hw can we call ourselves serious title challengers??? we r lucky MU lost some form early season, Arse lost momentum midway, while Chelski had abit of minor hiccups like us on n off ... else we'll b drifting away fr d title race!

Rafa muz b a very worried man now. If talisman Gerrard gets long term injury (touch wood!) our season is goin to be a very wretched one. Better start shopping (n selling!) during d Jan tfr window lah ... 1st on d blocks shd be Keane, mayb Dossena, Babel ...

Quite true but these days, how many fans will continue supporting and cheering a team that plays poor football at home? Sadly not many, even at Anfield.

As Torres said, if the crowd is roaring you on, you have wings on your shoulders.

We need some good backup for Torres since Keane can't perform.

Not sure if there is a chance like Fowler for the prodical son Owen.
Heskey is a good catch if they can get him back.

bad news,fellow Reds.

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has confirmed that hamstrung striker Fernando Torres will be sidelined until next year.

The 24-year-old had been expected to be out of action for only two weeks but specialists in Spain have advised that the former Atletico Madrid star remains on the sidelines for a month.

hope Keane,Kyut and Babel can step-up and start scoring goals for us.

Don't waste money on Heskey and owen, just play Babel more in the middle with keane should solved the problem. Benayoun sucks on the right, better to stick Kuyt there, I think, or jan gets a better right wing backup.

Got money buy better full backs!

If we buy heskey, I'll be very disappointed. We just sold a tall guy who can do overhead kicks and is very good with his feet. Crouch is scoring these season. If we were to be link to another older tall guy who can't score as much, I do wonder what's the point? Heskey's link-up play isn't that fantastic too.
