AV very seldom make public prosecutors do their work. If they bring all prc WL who have been caught to the court, our tax will increase. Its just one too heavy load to gather the required evidence to prosecute each and everyone of them, and they need to stay on their thin line with the women's charter, the Chinese Embassy and social views. Of cos, they will tell you your rights - you have the right to fight, you have the right to say you're innocent, but you know in their heart, you've heard a little 'bring it on and make my day' in their speech. They'll hammer you until you DUN EVER WANT to come to sg again.

If you fight them on legal grounds, you up the stakes to the court. They will use 'prostitution' laws to charge you and give you the max to show the rest of the people what will happen if you dun 'compound' your failure to obey rules.

For you, its very simple. You can choose to be hero and help her get the maximum sentence in the court. Or you can choose to be another hero and advise her accordingly, just accept the 'system' and get your ass back to where you're from.

But my advice is, dun even be any hero. Stay the hell out of it. If you think its not your fault that she got caught, then you shouldnt be feeling so damn guilty over that. She came here knowing that risk much better than you do.

If you are really the 25kid and supplied the tip for her arrest, then do something about that guilt of yours. Either give her a sum of money, or just get your sorry ass back to your own life and worry about your meals.

When a WL is arrested, ordinarily the first thing they check is whether she is an over-stayer. If she is on a valid social visit visa or student pass but was caught FLing, the simplest thing for the authorities to do is to simply cancel her pass on the ground that she is an undesirable person.

The decision is made by the immigrations people. Under the Immigration Act, full authority is vested in the Commissioner for Immigrations. The decision of the Commissioner for Immigrations is not subject to review by the Court. Even if you have the money to hire lawyers, it is useless.

Once the pass is cancelled, the WL will have to leave the country within the number of days specified in the White Card. If she does not have any means of leaving the country, the govt will pay for her airfare to leave Singapore.

When that happens, the girl is deported. Bro Colins was probably referring to an Extradition Treaty in his last post. This is only relevant if the girl committed a crime in China but is hiding in Singapore. In order for the Chinese govt to require us to hand her over, we must have an Extradition Treaty signed first. Deportation does not require any treaties as it is a unilateral act by the State ordering the girl to get out.

A Singaporean cannot be deported as under our Constitution, Singapore citizens have a constitutional right to remain in Singapore.

In the event the WL is an over-stayer, the Immigrations Act provides for certain penalties including jail terms and rotan (for the men). Now in order to have these penalties meted out, the over-stayers will have to be charged in Court as only the Court has the power to punish the accused person.

If the WL is charged in Court, the accused person will then be entitled to legal representation.

The law is clear on this issue. You are either in possession of a valid pass or you are not. It is a simple factual issue. If you are not in possession of a valid pass, you have no rights to remain in Singapore and thus attracts the punishment as stipulated in the Immigration Act.

Once the person is convicted of remaining in Singapore without a proper pass, and finishes his/her jail term, he/she will be deported.

In both instances, immigrations will probably blacklist that person and will deny that person entry into Singapore in future.

As for "prostitution laws" mentioned by Bro Colins, it is not illegal to be a prostitute in Singapore. It is however illegal to solicit in public. If a WL is to be charged for soliciting in public, there is a need to adduce proper evidence in support of that charge. I don't know what kind of evidence the police is going to bring but the chances of a clever lawyer getting the girl out of shit for this type of a charge is far better compared with a charge under the Immigrations Act. Hence the Immigrations Act is the preferred weapon of choice in dealing with such situations.

All said and done, if the WL bro Blurwolfe mentioned was charged in Court, she was probably charged for staying in Singapore without a valid pass. No amount of mitigation will help as there is a standard tariff applicable.

Hey Bro DYBJ, thats why I think its damn ironic. Anybody here who say that they are immune to KC is only 纸上谈兵. Until you meet 'that' girl, until you cheong every weekends, until you meet the likeness of your first infatuation in a WL, then you know how real the whole affair of KC is.

We can talk all we want here, but bros, how many of us can leave the scene without regrets? You see those guys kicking cats and knocking down tables for WL, if they are only statistics they would represent the bottom 5% of the bell curve. If you havent experience it well enough, and went thru all these shit these bros are going through with their KC problems, how do you reach the top 5%?

My point of it being ironic, is that when so many bros are head over heels over their own WL, giving them presents, it is time that their WL break their heart. There are just so many irony that the scene just dun work the normal ways anyway. You can never use rational thinking when you enter the game.
Like when they ask for gifts, and after you give in, they'll leave you. When they ask for security, and you want to marry them, they still want to continue getting f by other bros. When they get sick, and you get concerned over their welfare, yet when they get well you never have chance to meet them again. When you have money, they only want your money. When you have no money, you line up to be their caretaker when they're sick. So think about it, can you give them ANYTHING?

All these stories unfolding here shows that it is just one big illusion stacked upon another. The greatest irony is, we still happily think we found an alternative gf, and possibly treat them better than any other gf we knew.

Personally I had 6 prc gf before, the last one I knew her in sg, none of them treat me this way.
