my PRC ex-fl wife whom i hv known for coming to 4 years (plus marriage), never asked me for more than the neccessary, when we were at courtship, i provided about $2.5K per month (excluding $700 room rental) but surpisingly she managed to save about $1K from there. now married, i provided about $4K per month for the household n she is able to save about $1.5K per month. so not all women from PRC are bad (especially the so called "whores") but i hv to agree that i must hv strike TOTO to know her as i hv seen some of her friends are like what many bros hv described who just want to get a PR status n earning "extras" behind their hubby's back. in actual fact she has fork out $20K from her own savings for our new house renovation. on top of that, she keeps the house squeeky clean n cooks dinner almost everyday (i can tell u the food she cooked are simply delicious!

I agree that not all PRCs working in this line are all bad. However, most of them are in it just for the money. In TS's case, that mei mei is definitely just stringing him along in order to get money from him.

The only thing that can change their attitude towards money is if they really fall in love with you. Again as I said, most of the time (>99%) it is the cheongsters who fall for the gals but in reality the gals just treat them as carrot heads or Roberts...

So the odds are definitely stacked against us if we fall in love with a WL.

But I think so far her request of 2000 RMB (SG$400) p/m is quite reasonable. She leaves a better paid job for you to work as sales. So some form of support from you, since you are the BF should be fine.

But of course must test drive first, make sure you like to drive for long term.

Having said this, still gotta be wary of future demands, now start few hundreds later more excuses come and will ask more money. Also, LDR no joke. Gotta travel every few months to see her to get your kicks. Kinda tough on the time and feelings part.

The money part still ok can earn back, but once feelings in will suffer if things dun work out. Will feel kenna cheated etc.

So in summary, fall in love with her definitely no.At least not for now. Why not just take things as it is for now and have your fun.
