There are side effects to the pill that can be felt either soon after starting or much later in future. It varies from woman to woman, and it is us men who won't know it as well as the woman does. My girlfriend who likes raw and creampie has stopped using the pill after regularly using it for over 2.5 years due to some suspicious symptoms happening.

I don't wish to generalize or make a sweeping statement, but in my experience, I get the impression that many/most Asian women tend to be more conservative and less adventurous when it involves sex, even after marriage. It varies widely between Asian nationalities as well, and it seems (I emphasize "seems" without surety of any confirmed study) Singaporeans are less adventurous about sex and more resistant to non-barrier contraception than women of some other Asian nationalities. That is just my experience and impression, but I may be all wrong.

I do understand a woman's change of mindset from lover/wife to mother after baby/kid arrives in the picture. It can radically change from often interested in sex to not wanting sex at all. It comes with the maternal instinct to nurture and the responsibilities of parenting.

Do both of u plan to have more children? If no and ur wife do not want to use contraceptives, an option to consider is either tubal ligation for female or vasectomy for man.

Another method is the rhythm method. Usually works very well. Of cos... accidents can happen.

Other options is sterilization if you both don't wish to have children anymore.
