Guys out there , okay I guess the PRC didn't know that sg had a law that a sum deem too big to be paid in coins would be against the law. The PRC should have consulted some sg people and ask around is such mayhem allowed ? Paying everything in coins ?

If the prc rejected on the spot .. than this jover chew chee bye also LL have to pay in notes.. haiz , why this jover do salah things liao still so act 1 satki... really he havent meet until his match nia.

According to the Currency Act, the legal tender limit for coins of denomination below 50-cents is S$2 per denomination. For 50-cent coins, the limit is S$10, and there are no limits for S$1 coins, the regulator said.

"In view of recent incidents of payment in coins for large sums of money, the MAS reiterates that a payee has no obligation to accept coins beyond the legal tender limits set out in the Currency Act," a MAS spokesperson told Channel NewsAsia.

"The payee has the right to reject coins used to pay any amount in excess of the limits, and may take civil action against the payer to recover the debt."

you have no obligation to accept and have the right to reject the payment, but then you need to take civil action yourself to recover the debts....

and there's no limits for S$1 coins... so if people pays you $20,000 by 20,000 $1 coin, u lan lan have to accept...!!!!

The shop ask for signature, no such thing as customer signature for warranty...

Anyone have the picture of the paper they sign? Is it only blank of have some agreement so that the court can't ask him to return the money?

According to what I read, they would charge to the card first and then get customer to sign. Or else, they would not hand over the phone. Dam low tactics.

And when asked if there are no more hidden cost, they say so, but warranty is a different thing altogether.

This is what he have to face for the consequences of his act. His smart not to chose Singaporean as target if he does his LP he would have been bash long time ago for his LC bin.
